An Elden Ring fan wants developer FromSoftware to add a new Site of Grace at Gowry's Shack in Caelid. Even though Elden Ring is an open-world game, it has many similarities to the Dark Souls series, with Sites of Grace taking the place of bonfires.

These Sites of Grace are present everywhere in Elden Ring, and they give players access to a variety of gameplay features such as leveling up their character and changing the current spells. Many Sites of Grace are located next to key areas while killing a boss also spawns one, allowing players to safely quick-travel out of the area. Now, some Elden Ring fans want the development team to add a grace site next to an important NPC.

A Reddit user named guzmonster11 wants FromSoftware to add a Site of Grace next to Gowry, making it easier for users to quickly travel to and from this location. Gowry can be found at a location appropriately called Gowry's Shack in Caelid, and he plays an important part in the quest line involving Millicent in Elden Ring. As there is no grace site next to this NPC, players are forced to travel to a nearby location and make the trip to the shack every time they want to visit Gowry.

This quality-of-life feature will probably save gamers a lot of time, and users in the comments section appear to agree with guzmonster11. Many players share their own methods for quickly reaching Gowry's Shack, with one stating that Elden Ring fans need to walk off a particular cliff to swiftly get to this location. According to another user, the grace site that spawns after beating Commander O'Neil in Elden Ring is fairly close to Gowry's Shack, but users will have to defeat the boss to unlock it.

While many fans call for this change to be implemented in Elden Ring, one user believes that there are already enough grace sites in the game, especially when compared to the Dark Souls franchise. Another player shares a similar message, stating that they never had issues with the Sites of Grace in Elden Ring as they were used to the bonfire system of the Dark Souls series. FromSoftware has released many updates for Elden Ring that add quality-of-life features, but adding a Site of Grace to a new location may be unlikely.

Elden Ring is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
