If there is one thing that Elden Ring has, it is a clean UI. Things do not feel too cluttered, with only the essentials that players need appearing on the screen. While FromSoftware has done a good job keeping things tidy, one gamer has created an image of what they think the UI would look like if Ubisoft developed Elden Ring, and it is not pretty.

FromSoftware's RPG has proven to be quite the success. It has been reported that Elden Ring has sold over 10 million copies on PC by SteamSpy. While data from SteamSpy is not official, it cannot be denied that the game is a huge success, receiving near-perfect scores from many gaming outlets. While FromSoftware was able to develop such a hit, one gamer has imagined what the game would be like had Ubisoft developed it.

The image shows a player in the game's world with an incredibly cluttered UI. Added elements on the screen include a mini-map, a compass, multiple objectives, and, most hilariously, an ad for DLC.

Some are commenting that the image is funny, especially the "Press X to Activate Tarnished Sense" that has been added. Others, however, are stating that it is "gross," with a few stating that it makes them sick and uncomfortable. It is nice to see humor involving a game that is as dark and serious as Elden Ring, from the Ubisoft joke to a funny Lord of the Rings message that can be found near a pool of lava.

The Ubisoft joke is not the only way that gamers are having fun with FromSoftware's ARPG. On Facebook, a player by the name Dolan Dark created a video showing what it would be like if Breaking Bad's Walter White was a character in Elden Ring. The video parodies the casual player experience in the game, showing a frustrated Walter White throughout. It goes as far as to show Walter flip-off the Tree Sentinel before being destroyed by the boss.

Some are even taking humor in watching gamers who have never played a FromSoftware title try to take on the RPG. A Redditor going by the name JRainers demonstrates what it is like playing Elden Ring with such a friend. The video shows the two having fun in different situations, including the veteran watching their friend miss a jump, then watching the new player struggle against a fire-breathing boss, and the pair putting on disguises that make them look like statues and dancing around. These videos and images are all showing that there is much fun to be had in Elden Ring.

Elden Ring is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
