Popular streamer Perrikaryal reached an impressive milestone in her "hands-free" playthrough of Elden Ring, defeating one of the game's new bosses completely with her mind. Popular streamer Perrikaryal is well known for using her unique, hands-free approach to beat some of the world's most infamous video games, but this setup was put to the ultimate test with Elden Ring's new Shadow of the Erdtree expansion. Perrikaryal embarked on this mind-controlled playthrough of the new expansion earlier this month and just hit a major milestone, defeating Divine Beast Dancing Lion during a recent stream.

Streamer Defeats Elden Ring Boss With Mind Control

Divine Beast Dancing Lion is one of the many bosses Elden Ring players will face in Shadow of the Erdtree and is a sticking point for some players. However, Perrikaryal persisted, defeating the boss with the power of her own mind. Perrikaryal's mind control playthrough is ongoing, though, at this rate, Shadow of the Erdtree will not take the streamer much longer to complete. Perrikaryal explained in an interview with Kotaku last year that the specific technology she uses is not all that "high-end" and says the code involved in her setup is "very, very janky." Despite becoming a mind control master, Perrikaryal says using a regular controller is a “bit of a relief."

Just like the release of the base game itself in 2022, Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree will undoubtedly go down as one of gaming's biggest moments. The expansion was highly anticipated prior to release, with hype growing exponentially after developer FromSoftware released the first Shadow of the Erdtree trailer earlier this year. While Elden Ring features a daunting array of tough bosses like Malenia, Mohg, and Maliketh, lots of players are already in agreement that Shadow of the Erdtree features the game's most challenging enemies.
