Many of the items, weapons, and armors in Elden Ring can be found through general exploration or obtained from bosses or questlines But there are quite a few items hidden amongst enemies that drop at ridiculously low rates, meaning players can complete an entire playthrough without ever seeing certain weapons or armors. A good example of this is the Longhaft Axe , a weapon that is only dropped by the axe-wielding Misbegotten at an extremely low two percent drop rate.

Elden Ring: How to Get Silver Tear Mask (Increase Arcane)

Elden Ring's Silver Tear Mask is a great piece of gear for players that want a boost in their Arcane stat.

Thankfully, there is a way for players to increase their odds of receiving certain drops and bring those obnoxiously low drop rates up to something more manageable. The Discovery stat directly correlates to how "lucky" players might be when farming for drops and there are ways for players to increase this stat. Players that increase their levels in Arcane will naturally grow their Discovery stat, but those that aren't speccing into the statline can raise their Discovery in other ways. One particularly good method is using the SIlver Scarab Talisman, which will boost Discovery by quite a bit. Here's how players can find the Silver Scarab in Elden Ring.

How To Find The Silver Scarab Talisman In Elden Ring

Elden Ring Hidden Path Haligtree Site of Grace

The Silver Scarab isn't particularly difficult to find if players know where to look, but it's easily one of the most frustratingly hidden items in the entirety of the Lands Between. That's because the Silver Scarab Talisman is found via an invisible path, in an area that most players would never think to look. Only those who have accidentally stumbled onto this path, or are masters at Souls-based exploration would find the Silver Scarab without aid.

To locate the talisman, players will first need to gain access to a secret hidden area that is accessed by offering up a secret medallion to the Grand Lift of Rold. The Secret Haligtree Medallion can be obtained by finding and piecing together its two halves, which are hidden across the Lands Between. One is fairly easy to get to, in Liurnia of the Lakes , but the other requires players to travel all the way to the Mountaintops of the Giants and face one of the most difficult bosses in the game. Those that are struggling to find and piece together the Secret Haligtree Medallion can follow along with this handy guide.

Elden Ring: How To Get Bull-Goat Armor Set

The Bull-Goat Armor set is one of the tankiest sets in Elden Ring. Here's how players can grab it for themselves.

Once players have access to the Secret Haligtree Medallion, they need to travel to the Grand Lift of Rold and change to the medallion via the button prompt before lifting it up. Once done, players will find themselves in a new area that looks like a crypt of sorts. By traveling the path ahead, going up the large stairs, and through a tunnel, players can find the Hidden Path to the Haligtree Site of Grace. It's recommended that players rush for this Site of Grace as there are some pretty annoying and powerful enemies in the area. Once there, players should head back down the stairs and into the large chamber where the Giant Land Octopus falls from the ceiling.

Running past this creature, down the stairs to the round-style platform below, players will spot a section of the stone railing missing on the right-hand side. By simply walking off the ledge made by this opening, they will fall onto an invisible path below. Straight ahead will be an archway that players can run to, with a hallway that juts to the right and a Grave Glovewort. Behind this is an invisible wall that players need to smack to open a hidden path with a chest waiting on the other side. Elden Ring'sSilver Scarab Talisman is inside this chest.

What Does The Silver Scarab Talisman Do?

Elden Ring Silver Scarab Info

The Silver Scarab Talisman is a very straightforward accessory that will simply boost a player's Discovery stat by 75. This is a massive boost, and players can simply equip this item when attempting to farm a particular weapon or armor piece. It will also stack with other Discovery boosting items like Arcane-boosting things and the Silver-Pickled Fowl Foot. Using just the Silver Scarab Talisman is enough of a boost to increase player's chances to find a certain item by a considerable amount.
