This Ash of War grants an armament the Occult affinity and the following skill:

"Shriek of Sorrow: Skill utilized by the downtrodden. Scream, causing nearby enemies to flinch, while also recalling deep-seated resentment, boosting attack power based on the amount of HP remaining. The lower the HP, the greater the effect."

  • The buff lasts 40 seconds

Shriek of Sorrow is an Ash of War added in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, and grants its equipped weapon the Occult affinity. This Ash of War can be equipped onto any melee armament.

This Ash of War will have your Tarnished shout and apply a buff to themselves. The shout will flinch any nearby enemies and the buff will increase your attack power based on how much missing HP you have.

  1. Head out the northern exit and up the stairs.
  2. Head to the right and continue straight to the doors. There will be a large tree ahead of you.
  3. Fire Knight Queelign will invade you when you enter this area. You can fight him or run to the back of the tree and get the Ash of War.
