Bigmouth Imp Ashes – Summon Cost & Tips

Bigmouth Imp Ashes Information in Shadow of the Erdtree

The spirit of this old imp, said to be fashioned after a dragon, has a big mouth that serves as a cannon and allows it to fire shells from the rear of the battlefield.

The Bigmouth Imp Ashes is a new Spirit Ash in Shadow of the Erdtree that summons a single Bigmouth Imp to aid you in battle. This is the same Imp that can be found as an enemy inside multiple Elden Ring Catacombs. Although this Spirit Ash looks weak summoning only one Imp, the firepower this Imp provides can help you a lot in dealing with enemies from afar.

The Bigmouth Imp can also stagger quite a few enemies, knocking them down so that you can perform a powerful follow-up attack.

The knockback is not only for common enemies — some bosses have also been found to stagger rather easily when facing this single Imp.

To summon the Bigmouth Imp Spirit Ash, Elden Ring players must have 50 FP available.

Where To Find Bigmouth Imp Ashes Location

To get Bigmouth Imp Ashes in Shadow of the Erdtree, you must reach Darklight Catacombs, which can be accessed through Shadow Keep connecting to Recluses' River. From the Site of Grace, head through the doorway and take a right to go down a staircase. Head left to reach a room with multiple Imps and a staircase to the left. Head through the doorway on the right, being mindful of the Bigmouth Imp guarding the area.

Head left and go down the multiple ladders to reach a room with a caster enemy. Going past the enemy and down the path will lead you to the first elevator that leads down. From the elevator, head down the staircase on the right and turn left. There will be two more ladders that you can go down, and proceed further left to reach the second elevator.

As you go down the staircase and head forward, you will spot a giant Bigmouth Imp firing fireballs at you. Try to avoid them and head left to activate the lever that lights up the area and lowers the platform the giant Imp is standing on. With the Imp now on ground level, you can deal with it and proceed forward. Inside the room will be a treasure chest containing the Bigmouth Imp Ashes.
