There are a lot of new Armor Sets hidden throughout the Lands of Shadow in Elden Ring's gigantic DLC AKA The Shadow of the Erdtree. A lot of these sets can be found just sitting on bodies, are purchased from Enia in the Roundtable Hold, or are randomly dropped by the enemies themselves.
Elden Ring: 10 Things To Do First
Elden Ring can be a massive game for players to jump into; here are some things to do first to give you a good start.
And, surprisingly, a ton of the new Armor also has unique passive effects that either buff very specific builds or buff certain stats while equipped. The Divine Bird Armor Set fits into both of these categories, as it has two passive effects on it and it's also gained from killing a specific enemy (and getting the random drop). So, to be more specific, let's take a deeper look at the Armor Set as a whole as well as where you can obtain it in Elden Ring.

The Divine Bird Warrior Armor Set is probably one of the most unique-looking sets in the Elden Ring DLC, for better or for worse. While the helmet is peak fashion and the gold motif always looks good, boy does nothing else match with the one part of this set that has a practical use (AKA the Greaves). These Greaves are amazing when combined with Dane's Footwork, and it's very likely they were designed with this weapon in mind, but no other armor set in the game even comes close to matching the aesthetic of these Greaves, which sadly absolutely ruins the fashion potential.
Mechanically, this set is awesome. It's not too heavy, gives good defenses and resistances, and two of the four pieces have extra effects that are purely beneficial (the healing reduction is barely noticeable). By far the worst part of this set is actually going through the process of getting each piece of it.
How To Get The Full Armor Set
A Pretty Direct Method
Like a lot of the Armor Sets added in The Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, this set is gained as a random drop from the very enemy seen wearing it. The Divine Bird Warriors are the ones who drop this set, and they can be found in a couple of different places throughout the Lands of Shadow, but they're primarily found in the Rauh Ruins region of the map. The drop percentage for each piece of armor in this set seems to be low, so just get ready to have to fight these guys at least a handful of times to get everything.
Thankfully, there's a very convenient and quick location to farm these Divine Bird Warrior enemies, which is right next to the Church of the Bud Main Entrance Site of Grace in the Rauh Ruins. Once you find this Site of Grace, you're ready to go. From this grace, look to your left, and you should see the roof of a pagoda across a decent gap in front of you.
Hop on Torrent and carefully double-jump across, because if you miss it's an irritating instant death. This is a shortcut that prevents you from having to deal with the Kindred of Rot inside near this SoG like you would normally half to. After jumping to the pagoda's roof, jump down, and you should see a Divine Bird Warrior walking either away from you or toward you nearby. Kill this Divine Bird Warrior, fast travel back to the Church of the Bud Main Entrance Site of Grace, rinse-and-repeat this process until you get all four pieces.
Just remember, there are a couple of key ways to increase your chances of getting this gear to drop, so make sure to take advantage of these methods such as:
- Using a Silver-Pickled Fowl Foot
- Using a Silver Horn Tender
- Using the Silver Scarab Talisman
- Equipping any Armor or Talisman that buffs your Arcane stat
- Putting points into Arcane since this has the largest impact overall on item discovery
