An Elden Ring player managed to get incredibly lucky during the final boss fight in the game's new Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, easily defeating the enemy due to a bizarre glitch that made the fight trivial. However, one player managed to easily defeat the final boss in Elden Ring's new DLC due to a bizarre glitch that cheated them out of the spoils of their own victory.

Reddit user Gneurshk shared a clip of their fight against Promised Consort Radahn, the final boss fight in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree. This fight is incredibly challenging, with many considering it to be one of FromSoftware's hardest boss fights of all time. However, a glitch caused the player to deal a whopping 32,000 damage in a single hit, making Radahn a pushover.

Elden Ring Player Robbed of Final Boss Fight

Gneurshk said they were upset to have missed out on the satisfaction of beating one of Elden Ring's most challenging bosses and wants a rematch in order to beat Radahn fair and square. Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree features quite a few bosses, each with their own move sets. Promised Consort Radahn has proven to be a sticking point for many players, even those who were already accustomed to Elden Ring's other challenging bosses like Malenia, Maliketh, and Mohg.

Despite the spike in difficulty, Elden Ring's new DLC has been met with rave reviews, with fans praising the design of the new areas, enemies, and items. Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree is massive in scale, providing players with hours of new content to explore. Not only does Shadow of the Erdtree let players step back into the Lands Between, it also ushers in new storylines for them to sink their teeth into. While developers have previously stated there are no plans for a second Elden Ring expansion, the future of FromSoftware's exciting open-world adventure remains bright.
