Remembrance of the Dancing Lion

Elden Ring - Remembrance of the Dancing Lion

Divine Beast Dancing Lion is the first remembrance boss most players will encounter in Shadow of the Erdtree. As you enter the Gravesite Plain, the starting region of the Elden Ring DLC, you will find a path leading to the Three-Path Cross site of grace where you will meet Redmane Freyja and Hornsent. Follow the path under the cliff to the west to find the entrance to the Belurat legacy dungeon. At the end of this dungeon, you will fight the Divine Beast Dancing Lion, who drops the Remembrance of the Dancing Lion and Divine Beast Headgear.

Elden Ring - Divine Frost Stomp skill

The Remembrance of the Dancing Lion can be traded for the Enraged Divine Beast talisman or Ash of War: Divine Beast Frost Stomp . The Enraged Divine Beast talisman increases the damage from storm attacks, while the Divine Beast Frost Stomp skill is an upgraded variant of the Hoarfrost Stomp skill from the base game.

Remembrance of the Twin Moon Knight

Elden Ring - Remembrance of Twin Moon Knight

At the end of Castle Ensis, players will face Rellana, Twin Moon Knight. She is the younger sister of Rennala, who decided to stay by the side of Messmer the Impaler in the Shadow Realm. After defeating her, you will be rewarded with the Remembrance of the Twin Moon Knight.

By trading Rellana’s remembrance, you can either claim Rellana’s Twin Blades or Rellana’s Twin Moons. Rellana’s Twin Blades come with the unique Moon-and-Fire Stance skill, which can deal both magic and fire damage. The other reward, Rellana’s Twin Moons, is a moon sorcery that summons two moons followed by a plunging attack. Of all sorceries, it has the highest Intelligence requirement of 72, surpassing Rennala’s Full Moon.

Remembrance of Putrescence

Elden Ring - Remembrance of Putrescence

At the southern tip of Southern Shore, you will find a passage leading to an area known as the Fissure. This underground location is home to bloodfields, abnormal stone clusters, and small death birds. After escaping all of them, you will reach the Fissure Depths site of grace. From there, head east and jump from the edge to enter the Putrescent Knight boss arena. After defeating him, you will obtain the Remembrance of Putrescence.

The Remembrance of Putrescence can be traded for the Putrescence Cleaver or Vortex of Putrescence spell. Putrescence Cleaver is the hammer used by the Putrescent Knight and comes with the iconic spinning blade skill. The Vortex of Putrescence sorcery summons a wave of blue frostbite flame on the ground.

Remembrance of the Impaler

Elden Ring - Remembrance of the Impaler

The Remembrance of the Impaler is the reward for defeating Messmer the Impaler located in Shadow Keep. He is one of the non-optional bosses of Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. You will have to defeat him to obtain Messmer’s Kindling, a key item needed for burning the sealing tree at the Ancient Ruins of Rauh.

The Remembrance of the Impaler lets you choose one of the following two items: Spear of the Impaler and Messmer’s Orb. Spear of the Impaler is the great spear used by Messmer and comes with one of the coolest weapon skills in the DLC. Messmer’s Orb is an incantation cast by Messmer at the start of his fight. It causes a huge explosion on impact, dealing significant stance damage.

Remembrance of the Wild Boar

Elden Ring - Remembrance of Wild Boar Rider

Specimen Storehouse in Shadow Keep has a hidden back area that leads to a lift on the backside of the castle. Taking the lift will take you to the Shadow Keep, Back Door site of grace. Just north of this site of grace is the arena for the Commander Gaius boss fight. This boss has one of the weirdest hitboxes, causing most players to struggle against it, but when defeated, it gives the Remembrance of the Wild Boar.

The Remembrance of the Wild Boar lets you pick either the Sword Lance or Blades of Stone sorcery. Despite its name, the Sword Lance is neither a standard sword nor a lance. This weapon is categorized as a heavy thrusting sword and has the Spinning Gravity Thrust skill. Surprisingly, the Sword Lance can also have other Ashes of War, allowing different affinities. As for Blades of Stone, it is a gravity sorcery with a big AOE physical attack.

Remembrance of the Shadow Sunflower

Elden Ring - Remembrance of Shadow Sunflower

At the base of the Scadutree, you will have to fight a creepy remembrance boss called the Scadutree Avatar. You can reach this boss fight after removing water from the Sunkel Chapel area in Shadow Keep. After draining the water, go into the chapel next to the Sunken Chapel site of grace and head to its northern part to find a lift leading to the Tree-Worship Passage and Tree-Worship Sanctum site of grace. The Scadutree Avatar boss is just north of the Tree-Worship Sanctum site of grace.

The Remembrance of the Shadow Sunflower lets you pick either a colossal weapon called Shadow Sunflower Blossom or an incantation called the Land of Shadow. While the Shadow Sunflower Blossom might be somewhat lackluster, the Land of Shadow is a powerful incantation with multiple projectiles and excellent tracking.

Remembrance of the Mother of Fingers

Elden Ring - Remembrance of the Mother of Fingers

By following Count Ymir’s questline to its end, players will get to fight Metyr, Mother of Fingers, located under the Cathedral of Manus Metyr. This eldritch horror drops the Remembrance of the Mother of Fingers when slain. You can trade her remembrance for the Staff of the Great Beyond or Gazing Finger.

The Staff of the Great Beyond is a powerful staff for Intelligence-Faith hybrid builds, as it gets high split scaling from both stats. What makes this weapon special is its ability to cast both sorceries and incantations. It is a great quality-of-life change for players who used to switch between sacred seals and glintstone staffs. On the other hand, Gazing Finger is a colossal weapon made literally from the boss’s head. Its skill slams down the weapon on the ground and deals magic AOE damage in a small area.

Remembrance of the Lord of Frenzied Flame

Elden Ring - Remembrance of the Lord of the Frenzied Flame

Deep in the Abyssal Woods lies Midra’s Manse, home to Midra, the Lord of Frenzied Flame, in the Elden Ring DLC. After defeating Midra, the Lord of Frenzied Flame, you will be rewarded with the Remembrance of the Lord of Frenzied Flame.

Elden Ring - Greatsword of Damnation

The Remembrance of the Lord of Frenzied Flame has two rewards: Greatsword of Damnation and Midra’s Flame of Frenzy incantation. Greatsword of Damnation is one of the best DLC weapons because of its standard Claymore moveset and unique Ash of War - Golden Crux. The Golden Crux skill can grab human-sized enemies and pierce barbs through their bodies, making it a great pick for PVP.

Elden Ring - Midra's Flame of Frenzy

As for Midra’s Flame of Frenzy, it is similar to the Unendurable Frenzy spell. However, it is not the best Frenzy incantation, as its fast madness build-up is detrimental to the caster as well.

Remembrance of the Saint of the Bud

Elden Ring - Remembrance of the Saint of the Bud

The Remembrance of the Saint of the Bud is rewarded for defeating Romina, Saint of the Bud, in the Ancient Ruins of Rauh. She is one of the non-optional bosses required for completing the Elden Ring DLC. It can be traded for either the Polearm of the Bud or Rotten Butterflies incantation.

The Polearm of the Bud is a new Scarlet Rot weapon with a 55 Rot buildup. The weapon skill has a beautiful animation and lands two strikes that have a high chance of inflicting Scarlet Rot. Like the weapon, Rotten Butterflies is an incantation centered around Scarlet Rot. On casting, it creates a whirl of butterflies that explode and apply Scarlet Rot in a large area.

Remembrance of a God and a Lord

Elden Ring - Remembrance of a God and a Lord

The Remembrance of a God and a Lord is the reward for defeating the final boss of Shadow of the Erdtree: Radahn, Consort of Miquella. This fight happens at the highest level of the Enir-Ilim legacy dungeon, accessible only after defeating Romina, Saint of the Bud, and burning the sealing tree using Messmer’s Kindling.

The Remembrance of a God and a Lord is the first remembrance that can be traded for three rewards instead of two. You can pick one of three options: Greatsword of Radahn (Lord) , Greatsword of Radahn (Light) , and Light of Miquella incantation.

Greatsword of Radahn (Lord) and (Light) both have the same stat requirements but different weapon skills. The Light of Miquella incantation takes the spotlight for its extremely high requirement of 72 Faith. It summons a giant pillar of holy light followed by smaller beams of holy attacks.
