Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC has a plethora of exciting weapons, and the Dancing Blade of Ranah is one of the most fun to use. The weapon's skill is what makes it such a fun and powerful weapon to use, and when coupled with the Dancer's Armor, it becomes even more powerful.

To get the Dancing Blade of Ranah & Dancer's Armor, players will need to head to the Cerulean Coast. The Cerulean Coast can be accessed pretty early on in the game, by heading towards the southern part of the Land of Shadows.

How To Get The Dancing Blade of Ranah & Dancer's Armor

One can start from the Castle Front Site of Grace, which is right across the bridge in front of the Three Path Cross Site of Grace, the location where players meet their first set of NPCs in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. From there, players will need to follow the road towards the east, until they reach the very end. While it might seem like a dead end, there will be an enemy standing at the end of the hill, and right beside it, there will be a path leading down. There will be a few flying enemies in the vicinity, so players should be careful about that. If players are using a mage build, then using sorceries such as the Night Comet should be enough to deal with them as they don't have a lot of HP.

Once players reach the end, there will be a pond with a flower enemy. Make your way behind the enemy into the cave, and from there, continue following the path of the Ellac River. It is a long way down, and players will eventually reach the grasslands with a Furnace Golem roaming around the area. From there, players need to head east to reach the Cerulean Coast. It is probably a good idea to grab the map fragment while you are here. Continue eastwards towards pretty much the end of the coast. There will be a Cerulean Coast West Site of Grace in the area, so players should grab that. From there, players need to head southeast, towards the part where the coast protrudes a bit. There will be a huge tree there and a hole in the ground.

Make your way into the hole to reach a cave. Follow the path in the cave and stay on the left side to find another opening which will eventually lead you outside. Once you are outside, take a right and then cross the river to go to the other side. Keep going forward to reach the top, and eventually, you will find the dungeon.

How To Beat Dancer of Ranah

Elden ring shadow of the erdtree dancing blade of ranah 3

The Dancer of Ranah is a surprisingly easy boss to beat. Although its attacks can be quite lethal, they can be dodged without a lot of issues. Also, Spirit Ashes cannot be used for the battle, although regular multiplayer summons are allowed. The only attack players need to be wary of is the Fire AoE attack which she will use whenever she is cornered. This attack is enough to one-shot players, so it is important that players dodge at the right moment. The trick to beating Dancer of Ranah is being close to her, but not too close so her attacks don't connect as easily. While her attacks are quite fast if players are at a mediocre distance from her, she pretty much keeps slashing her swords in the air.

And if players are using long weapons like the Nagakiba or skills such as the Moonveil's Transient Moonlight, then this battle can be an absolute breeze. For mage builds, just spamming Night Comet with a Staff of Loss in the offhand is also a really good trick to whittle down her HP quickly. She will also heal once during the attack, and although she will try to heal again, she will not be able to. This gives players a really good opening to get a few strikes in. Once players defeat her, she will drop the Dancing Blade of Ranah and Dancer's Armor.

Dancing Blade of Ranah Stats

The Dancing Blade of Ranah can be an absolute menace if used properly. Players should be mostly focusing on the weapon's skill, Unending Dance. While the armor doesn't offer much resistance to players. use the Dancer Armor along with the weapon, then they will get more damage boost. It is also an A-tier Dexterity scaling weapon, so it can be a great Curved Sword for pure Dexterity builds.
