But even games with similarly extended periods without updates, like Diablo 4, have still received new information especially in the past few months. While a nebulous information campaign is right in line with the general themes of FromSoftware games, many fans have become exasperated with the lack of new information about one of the most anticipated games.
Rumors and leaks about Elden Ring have been plenty, but without much substance. The only substantial leak came from a recently leaked bit of recorded gameplay, totaling a staggering six seconds, but fans have had much less to work with until now.
