One Elden Ring player used different household items to make near-exact replicas of various Crystal Tears found in the game. Elden Ring has a massive open world full of exciting objects and upgradeable materials. Items like Smithing Stones, Ghost Glovewort, and Somber Smithing Stones are essential for upgrading Elden Ring weapons and Spirit Ashes to make them more potent. Crystal Tears are another key objects that can come in handy during tense situations, particularly in boss fights.

Elden Ring players can try different combinations of Crystal Tears in the Flask of Wondrous Physick and see unique results. For instance, the Greenburst Crystal Tear temporarily boosts stamina recovery speed while the Crimsonburst Crystal Tear steadily restores HP. A Physick made from these two tears will perform both functions simultaneously. While gamers must defeat recurring Erdtree Avatar bosses to get these Crystal Tears, one Elden Ring fan has instead made them in the real world using household items.

Twitter user guminendo2022 deserves credit for making eight types of Crystal Tears using readily available components. The user uploaded an image on the social media platform showing their creativity in making these essential Elden Ring items. The first row includes the Magic Shrouding Cracked Tear followed by the Purifying Crystal Tear, the Opaline Bubbletear, and Crimson Crystal Tear. Magic Shrouding Cracked Tear can be a helpful tool for mage-type characters as it boosts magic damage for a short period. Meanwhile, the Purifying Crystal Tear is designed explicitly for the Mohg boss fight to negate the curse effect.

The second row has four more Crystal Tears, including the Cerulean Hidden Tear, the Crimsonwhorl Bubbletear, the Speckled Hardtear, and the Winged Crystal Tear. The Crimsonwhorl Bubbletear is an underrated option, as most players don't find it. This particular Crystal Tear converts damage received into HP, making it very handy in boss fights and the PvP mode. The user didn't specify the exact materials they used to make these Crystal Tears, but they mentioned using a type of resin. Ultimately, the original poster got a positive response from the Elden Ring community on Twitter.

Guminendo2022's work is a prime example of an Elden Ring gamer going the extra mile to recreate an in-game artifact. Since the game's launch in February, the internet has seen some genuinely unique creations from Elden Ring fans, like the one who made a 3D-printed replica of Malenia's Helm. At the same time, some gamers are incredibly fortunate, and they randomly encounter Elden Ring objects, like the player who found a rock that looks like Somber Smithing Stone.

Elden Ring is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
