There are few items in Elden Ring that just about every player has used at some point in a playthrough. Perhaps the most famous of these items is the Mimic Tear Spirit Ashes, which lets players summon an exact duplicate of themself as a combat ally. Second to this, then, is surely Radagon's Soreseal.

It's hidden relatively deep into the game in a high-level zone surrounded by enemies that make mincemeat of low-level players. Despite this, Radagon's Soreseal is still one of the easiest, yet most overpowered, items to get in Elden Ring. In fact, with a little careful planning, it's easier to get this Talisman than the downgraded version, Radagon's Scarseal.

Radagon's Soreseal Increases Str, Dex, Vigor, and Endurance by 5

Radagon's Soreseal gives a massive +5 boost to four stats – Strength, Dexterity, Vigor, and Endurance. These are all stats that just about every build uses, aside from perhaps pure-caster builds, and the bonus to Vigor and Endurance helps to offset the major drawback of this Talisman: increased incoming damage.

While equipped, Radagon's Soreseal makes players take 15% more damage from all sources. This is somewhat offset by the increased HP and Equip Load, which gives players more wiggle room for heavier armor. Ultimately having 20 free levels in four of the most relevant stats in the game is pretty fantastic – and when it's equipped at low levels, those extra 20 levels matter even more.

How To Get Radagon's Soreseal

Elden Ring Best Location To Farm Souls Early Guide Greyolls Dragonbarrow

Radagon's Soreseal is found in Fort Farroth, located in the northern half of Caelid, Greyoll's Dragonbarrow. You can get here from the beginning of the game - head to the Third Church of Marika (after getting Torrent) and look for a portal in the bushes to the northeast. Take this portal to get to the Bestial Sanctum, in the north of Greyoll's Dragonbarrow. Mount Torrent, avoid the Black Blade Kindred boss, and head directly south across the bridge. Don't mind the dragon, Torrent is fast enough to avoid damage... usually.

After passing the bridge, light the Grace at the nearby Rise, then continue southwest past the Minor Erdtree. Follow the path west until it turns southward, then continue on the path southeast to reach Fort Farroth. There are lots of rotting dragons around this area, just ignore them as they don't breathe fire. Inside Fort Farroth sprint past the harpies and bats and climb the ladder. Continue to the rooftop and drop down a hole to a hidden upper room of the Fort. Run past the rats and jump over to a disconnected room. The Talisman is in a chest on this second level of Fort Farroth.

Elden Ring is available now for PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox One and Series X|S.
