While known for a massive open world filled to the brim with items and enemies, Elden Ring is a FromSoftware title, and thus it is also known for its challenging boss fights. Players fight a boss almost the moment they spawn into Elden Ring for the first time, setting the tone for the rest of the game's experience.

Another thing that Elden Ring and other FromSoftware games are known for is their diverse character builds. Players can choose to build around pretty much anything, including spells, incantations, and weapons that range from normal to Elden Ring's marching band-esque horn weapons. Outside of optimization of stats for PVP, players can beat the game with pretty much any combination of stat points and builds.

However, though any build can be utilized to success, the best builds in Elden Ring for the base game have been exclusively magic builds, specifically those investing into intelligence and sorcery. While unique incantation builds like Elden Ring's scarlet rot build can be effective, sorcery builds can become a jack-of-all-trades. Recently, using a baffling combination of buffs, items, and spells, a sorcerer managed to kill Radagon and the Elden Beast, the game's two final bosses, in just over 30 seconds.

Reddit user Luvonir was the sorcerer who managed to pull off the amazing feat. Luvonir also posted their stat spread as well as what items and buffs they used so that others could beat the bosses just as effectively; as opposed to the Elden Ring player using numerous buffs to power up, Luvonir's buffs definitely worked to their advantage. The spells Luvonir used were the carian slicer and the comet azur; the carian slicer is an extremely fast conjured short sword that has high damage, while the comet azur is a giant channeled laser beam that deals massive damage to anything it hits.

Reddit users were in awe at Luvonir's accomplishment, cracking jokes as well as congratulating them for their kills. One user joked that Luvonir had optimized the "zero HP" build, referencing the fact that Luvonir could have died at pretty much any moment. Another user was impressed by Luvonir's lightning-fast medallion swap mid-fight; swapping items in the game's sometimes confusing inventory is hard to learn, so Luvonir's utilization of it is quite impressive. Yet another user couldn't believe the amount of damage Luvonir was dealing; however, high damage is very typical of sorcery builds, which are typically designed around the "glass cannon" mentality.

Truly, the speed and ease with which luvonir managed to dismantle the game's final bosses is both ridiculous and impressive. At least in the case of one Elden Ring player mourning the death of their friend, they had time to do so; in the case of Radagon and the Elden Beast, all they had time to do was spawn in before being erased from existence.

Elden Ring is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
