Primal Glintstone Blade is an Elden Ring Talisman that resembles an old glintstone blade covered in blood. It is said that the old sorcerers would use this blade to cut up their hearts to diffuse a primal glintstone within the sorcerers’ souls, which results in their demise.
The Primal Glintstone Blade's effect is a double-edged sword, reducing Spell FP costs by 25% by decreasing maximum HP by 15%. Players who are exploring Elden Ring with Faith or Intelligence builds can benefit from the Primal Glintstone Blade Talisman, even with its slight disadvantage.
How To Get The Primal Glintstone Blade in Elden Ring
The Primal Glintstone Blade is located southwest of the Snow Valley Ruins Overlook bonfire inside the Stargazer’s Ruins, Mountaintops of the Giants in Elden Ring.
To get there, travel to the Snow Valley Ruins Overlook Site of Lost Grace and head southwest between the gravestones. Be careful as there is a Tibia Mariner boss summoning giant skeletons that deal heavy damage.
After moving past the Elden Ring boss, a stone bridge should appear to the south (left). Cross it to reach the Stargazer’s Ruins.
Next, proceed east inside a destroyed building to find a Jellyfish talking to itself near the set of stairs. The Jellyfish is searching for its sister, Aurelia, since they promised each other at 14 to go see the stars.
To break the seal blocking the door, summon the Spirit Jellyfish Ashes to reunite the sisters. Finally, descend the stairs and open the chest containing the Primal Glintstone Blade.
The name Aurelia can be discovered by reading the Jellyfish Spirit Ashes’ description in Elden Ring. It also reveals that the Jellyfish girl is searching for her distant home, which refers to the Stargazer’s Ruins.
How To Get The Spirit Jellyfish Ashes In Elden Ring
The Spirit Jellyfish Ashes is given by Roderika after talking with her several times in Stormhill Shack, Limgrave in Elden Ring. Teleport to Gatefront Ruins Site of Lost Grace and travel northwest past the barricades, giant, and the other enemies.
Once players are near the Golden Seed, keep going northwest until Stormhill Shack is in sight. Roderika should be there, inside, wearing a red hood.
If Tarnished progressed in Elden Ring and didn’t encounter Roderika, there’s another method to meet her and get the Spirit Ashes. Upon resting at any Site of Lost Grace in Liurnia of the Lakes, the Spirit-Tuner automatically moves to the Roundtable Hold. Roderika can be first seen standing next to the fireplace, then she moves to sit near Master Hewg and Elden Ring Fia, the Deathbed Companion. Choosing the “Please” dialogue option while talking to Roderika grants Tarnished the Spirit Jellyfish Ash.
Elden Ring is available now for PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox One and Series X|S.
