An Elden Ring player has found a unique strategy that allows them to completely destroy the Dragonlord Placidusax boss with ease. FromSoftware's newest game took the world by storm early last year and became one of the biggest gaming releases of 2022. Currently, Elden Ring has the most GOTY award wins of all time, dethroning The Last of Us Part 2 which previously held the record.

A huge part of the success of Elden Ring is due to the amount of content packed into its dark, cruel fantasy world, with a variety of areas, dungeons, and bosses for players to experience. The freedom of exploration is unmatched and provides a lot of hidden items, side stories, and bosses for players to find. Dragonlord Placidusax is a secret boss in Elden Ring that players are able to face off against. The boss is one of the more challenging late-game bosses with powerful lightning-based attacks.

One very talented Elden Ring player has made the mighty secret boss look easy to defeat and uploaded the footage online. In a post made to Reddit, DaddyWhoGames shared a no-hit run against Dragonlord Placidusax, showing off the strength of the Lion Greatbow. In the clip, the player can be seen standing from medium-long range with the bow and using charged attacks that launch a volley of arrows toward the boss while dodging its signature red lightning attacks. In roughly 90 seconds, the player completes the boss battle all without taking a single hit of damage.

Other fans in the subreddit commented with their reactions to the video. Several users asked about the build required to pull off such a feat. One user commented how they loved min/max builds that deal ridiculous damage but can be easily killed by the slightest attack. The original poster responds to a few of these posts, providing tips on how to dodge specific attacks and sharing details on his build. He also stated that he would be working on no-hit running other Elden Ring bosses Godfrey and Maliketh next.

This video speaks to the replay value of Elden Ring. Not only are players still reliving their journey through FromSoftware's uniquely crafted world, but they are still finding new ways to maximize the variety of weapons and character builds for enemies. Currently, fans are anticipating some sort of DLC expansion for Elden Ring, but only the Colosseum update has been added for now.

Elden Ring is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
