Elden Ring is known for having one of the largest open worlds full of new challenges at every turn. Exploring the Lands Between is a rewarding experience as players find formidable bosses scattered around the game, who drop exciting items upon defeat. Besides the item drops, the thrill of defeating an Elden Ring boss after multiple attempts induces a sense of accomplishment in players.

Meanwhile, Elden Ring has some bosses that some players can't defeat even after hundreds of tries. Mandatory bosses like Godskin Duo and Maliketh often seem like a huge roadblock to some gamers who want to progress in the storyline but cannot defeat the boss. These fans sometimes eventually look for ways to skip the boss fight entirely. Luckily for such gamers, one person has found an easy way to bypass a difficult Elden Ring boss fight.

Reddit user -zorpthesurveyor- uploaded a video showing a neat trick to bypass the boss fight with Loretta, Knight of the Haligtree, using parkour techniques. The video begins near the mist seen before every Elden Ring boss fight. The user approaches the fog, but instead of entering it, they jump onto the platform of a statue right next to it. They carefully maneuver their character to face the adjacent railing leading up to the boss fight area. After this, -zorpthesurveyor- performs the Gold Breaker skill, which transports their character several feet away on the edge of the targeted region.

From here on, the user moves across the rooftop, carefully avoiding falling to their death to ultimately reach their destination without having to fight Loretta. It took them more than two minutes to undergo this entire ordeal. As expected, the video caught the attention of the Elden Ring community, who admired it, as seen by almost 4,000 upvotes and hundreds of comments. Most users praised the original poster, but some also pointed out it might be easier and faster to fight Loretta instead of performing this complicated method. The original poster agreed with such comments and clarified they only discovered this technique so they could fight invaders on both sides of the Haligtree.

Loretta, Knight of the Haligtree, is not a mandatory boss to progress in the main storyline, but players must defeat her to gain access to Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree. She is the physical form of the Royal Knight Loretta boss from Elden Ring that gamers encounter at the Caria Manor.

Elden Ring is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
