An Elden Ring player creates a character in-game that is stunningly similar to Odin from God of War Ragnarok. Elden Ring allows players to completely customize their characters, and the Odin recreation is the latest in a long line of avatars that have been modeled after fictional icons. The Odin recreation was recently revealed on a post uploaded to the Elden Ring subreddit.

FromSoftware's latest game has allowed players to unleash their creativity. From Jamie Lannister to Harley Quinn in Elden Ring, fans have been able to expertly recreate fictional characters since the game was released. Now, given the popularity of God of War Ragnarok, a dedicated player has made Odin in The Lands Between.

Reddit user oEmersonKs recently posted an image to the Elden Ring subreddit that shows Odin from God of War Ragnarok. The picture captures much of Odin's characteristic features, from his damaged eye/eye patch to his haggard beard. Odin is the primary antagonist in God of War Ragnarok and is the final boss that Kratos is forced to face during the campaign. Though oEmersonKs character won't have the same power as the boss does in Ragnarok, he will certainly be able to bring a little bit of Odin's mystique to Elden Ring.

The Elden Ring character creator allows fans to control everything from weight to eye color to expression. It is incredibly detailed and has spawned numerous impressive creations like the recent Odin character. Hopefully, fans will see even more cool creations in the near future as players rush into the lands between in the wake of Elden Ring's Game of the Year win at the Game Awards 2022. Indeed, the character creation in Elden Ring, while thorough, is also simple enough that any dedicated players are able to create amazing and unique avatars during their travels in The Lands Between.

Fans can also show off their characters in PvP, which is becoming even more prominent thanks to the new Elden Ring Colosseum update. While The Colosseum includes new weapons and gear, It's safe to say that nobody would want to go up against Odin during their PvP duels. In all seriousness, however, the Elden Ring community has proven itself incredibly dedicated to FromSoftware's latest title, and so it should come as no surprise that fans have taken the time to create epic in-game characters and that Elden Ring was voted the Game of the Year for 2022.

Elden Ring is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
