Elden Ring has stormed the global gaming markets and is possibly the biggest release of the year, gaining massive critical success. It is one of the few games from 2022 with a 90 or higher rating, thanks in large part to numerous factors like the mechanics, storyline, gameplay, and much more.

Elden Ring's character creator is one of the most talked-about features, as it allows players to create any figure from their imagination with a high degree of customization. As a result, gamers have regularly come up with notable personalities from the modern world of pop culture. These include Iron Man from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Joker from the DC Universe, Obi-Wan Kenobi from Star Wars, among others. In contrast, others prefer creating real-life people like William Dafoe and Snoop Dogg.

Similarly, another Elden Ring fan has come forward, simultaneously displaying their creativity and referencing a trending TV series. Reddit user Daniele124 uploaded an image showing their player character, who looks eerily similar to Billy Butcher, a pivotal character from the ongoing TV series, The Boys. The Redditor has only uploaded a single picture showing a close of their version of William Butcher with identical facial and head hair while ensuring the optimal skin tone. The forehead and other features like the eyes and nose also share a striking resemblance with the original TV show character.

Naturally, the Reddit post got a positive response from the community, as shown by hundreds of upvotes with a more than 90 percent upvote ratio. Most people praised Daniele124's version of Butcher, while others filled up the comments section with witty phrases used by the popular TV series protagonist. On the other hand, some Redditors were critical of Daniele124's creation as they suggested the jawline should be wider with a more prominent mouth.

For those who don't know, Billy Butcher is one of the main characters of The Boys comics and TV series. The Boys is named after a group of vigilantes who track down and subdue superheroes who abuse their superpowers. The TV series has gathered a massive global audience and recently concluded the third season, with many critics applauding the eighth episode in particular.

The Boys' massive fan base also includes Hideo Kojima, the prominent game designer who happens to be a great admirer of the series. Kojima recently spoke about his unfinished and abandoned video game project based on The Boys, revealing interesting details about the same.

Elden Ring is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
