Legacy Dungeons are very important areas in Elden Ring. In these dungeons, there's a huge chance of finding and fighting a Lord like in Stormveil Castle. It's filled with many challenging enemies and bosses, as well as some useful items. Players shouldn't underestimate this castle and instead, try to prepare for anything that might come in their way.
Tarnished need to level up their weapons to make this dungeon easier on them. They will also encounter some helpful NPCs that'll aid them with their Elden Ring journey. But first, players will have to find a way to get inside Stormveil Castle.
How To Open Stormveil Castle In Elden Ring
Stormveil Castle can be accessed after players defeat Margit, the Fell Omen. Upon defeating him, a Site of Lost Grace will appear.
If players choose to rest, 
Melina will appear and take the tarnished to Roundtable Hold or Table of Lost Grace. When the tarnished is done at the Roundtable Hold, open the map and fast travel to Margit's Site of Lost Grace. From there, go through the open large door and continue walking up the stairs. Tarnished will find another Site of Lost Grace. In front of it, there’s a giant closed castle door and a room on its right.
Upon entering the room, the tarnished will see an NPC calling for them to come closer. Go stand near him and he'll start talking. The Elden Ring NPC will tell players that they shouldn't walk through the main gate as it's filled with soldiers. Instead, he advises them to walk through the hole in the wall so they can explore the castle undetected. Here, tarnished are given two options, Very well and No, I'll use the main gate.
Unless players are feeling powerful, they shouldn't pick the second option. The NPC will warn them again and then tell the guards to open the gate. The moment players go through the main gate, arrows will start raining, killing them instantly. The tarnished might be able to get the three items lying on the ground after a few tries.
So the best option would be to agree with the NPC and walk through the secret entrance. After exiting the large hole in the wall, head right and jump at the wall.
Now, stick to this broken wall and keep walking upward/forward. Eventually, players will have to turn left, where the terrain changes from walls to dirt. Follow this path until the Tarnished have to jump over the stone wall.
Moving forward, there is a bird with swords as its legs waiting to ambush players. Kill it and proceed to the right.
Players will find a Site of Lost Grace a few steps ahead. After lighting up, it will now be visible on Elden Ring's map, and the tarnished can enter Stormveil Castle.
