The armor-clad ape, appropriately named Monke, looks surprisingly intimidating as it stands amidst one of the game’s many sets of crumbling ruins. The level of detail on the unique creation is undeniably impressive, with the finished product looking more like a character from Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey than a warrior from the Lands Between. Eager to help other gamers create their own in-game animal warrior, Hooplah0 helpfully posted a screenshot with the values they used in the character creator to produce the menacing monkey.
Gamers responding to the post were both amused and impressed with the unique character creation, with one comment stating “This is it. The Elden Ring character creator has peaked.” Other users took the opportunity to monkey around by sharing quotes from Planet of the Apes and other similarly simian-themed films and shows. Several commenters praised Hooplah0 for their impressive use of Elden Ring’s character creation tools, amazed that they were able to design an animal character using a system designed to produce human protagonists.
