There have been many Elden Ring rune farming techniques that fans have shared with the community since the game in early 2022. While there are places to farm runes all over The Lands Between, we've uncovered a pretty easy rune farming method that players can take advantage of to acquire around 20-25K runes in just a single minute.
Runes are the main currency in Elden Ring, and also essentially function as the game's XP --players can use the runes to level up their stats at any Site of Lost Grace. If there are any players that are struggling against a boss, it's best to leave the boss and work on grinding to either level up their stats, or level up their weapons at Roundtable Hold.
Elden Rune Mid-Game 25K a Minute Rune Farm
In order to start this rune farm technique, players need access to the Grand Lift of Rold, which players go up to reach the Mountaintops of the Giants. However, if players have both halves of the Haligtree Secret Medallion, they can access a secret path to the Haligtree, that leads to the Consecrated Snowfields. Once on the path, players will eventually reach the Hidden Path to the Haligree Site of Lost Grace.
To maximize the number of runes earned during this method, it's recommended for Elden Ring players to have two items on their person. The first thing to have is the Golden Scarab talisman , which increases runes obtained from defeated enemies.
Purchasing/finding some Gold-Pickled Fowl Foot is the second thing players should do. Consuming this item boosts rune acquisition for a few minutes. It can be purchased from the sisters at Roundtable Hold if players give them the bell bearing item from Patches .
Once Elden Ring players get to the Site of Lost Grace, they will need to follow the next steps to get tons of runes in no time at all:
- From the Site of Grace, head south down the stairs. There are three enemies in this room to kill.
- Go down the next set of stairs to the east. Make sure to stealth kill the imp-like monster in the doorway.
- In this area, players will need to take down the giant plant monster, and the group of imps. Once they're all taken care of, go back to the Site of Lost Grace to reset the enemies, and then rinse and repeat.
- There are a couple of more imps to kill if players go down the stairs near the plant monster, but it's more efficient to leave after killing the plant and the imps surrounding it. It's up to the player how long they want to spend on each run. However, it should only take about a minute or a minute and a half at most to take out the enemies, depending on player level/skill.
- If players have the Golden Scarab talisman equipped, and the effects of the Gold-Pickled Fowl Foot are activated, Elden Ring players can easily get half a million runes in about 25 minutes or so.
