A dedicated Elden Ring player online has shared their incredible in-game recreation of Gamora, Nebula, and Thanos from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While Elden Ring and the MCU might seem like a strange mix, this creation shows how it can work.

Elden Ring offers a massive amount of customization for gamers to create their perfect protagonist, with FromSoftware providing extremely versatile tools for the job. It's certainly a big upgrade on the customization system offered in the Dark Souls titles, and some of the creations to come out of it have been amazing. There was even one Elden Ring player who created Taylor Swift in the game. While she doesn't exactly look right at home in the Lands Between, it's a fun juxtaposition to see her taking down some of Elden Ring's toughest bosses.

Redditor SoulfearicAcid shared their incredible recreation, which brings Gamora, Nebula, and Thanos to life in Elden Ring. While Gamora and Nebula are both great, it's Thanos that really shines here. SoulfearicAcid has managed to nail his stern expression, even using a tattoo to give him the lines of his chin. It's totally uncanny, and best of all, they shared the sliders in the thread for others to use. SoulfearicAcid is making quite a name for themselves in the Elden Ring customization community. Just recently, they created a spot-on Doom Slayer in Elden Ring, so it's clear they have a knack for this sort of thing, and it's exciting to imagine what they'll cover next.

While everyone in the thread adored the creations, one user pondered "Have we run out of content so fast character creation is the new gameplay meta?" It's definitely something worth thinking about. When Elden Ring's first expansion was announced, it was hoped that it would bring a large amount of new content to the game to keep it fresh. However, the DLC is yet to materialize with no release date currently announced. FromSoftware has gone silent on the expansion, and hopefully it isn't too much longer before the studio has more to say. Gamers will continue to post amazing character creations, regardless of if the game has more content or not.

Alongside Elden Ring's first expansion, FromSoftware has a lot on its plate right now. The studio has Armored Core 6 releasing later this year, and it looks to be a departure from what gamers have come to expect from traditional FromSoftware games. It will be interesting to see how much customization plays a part in Armored Core 6, given how important it was in Elden Ring.

Elden Ring is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
