Magical spells and incantations are an essential tool for any Elden Ring player when facing off against some bigger opponents in the game. A powerful Elden Ring spell can save gamers plenty of the stress of chipping away at a boss's health bar. Luckily, some legendary spells in the game can make even the strongest of enemies quiver in fear.

Comet Azur is arguably the most broken spell in Elden Ring, if you are able to empower it with Talismans, gear, and other buffing spells. When cast, Comet Azur continuously consumes FP as it blasts a beam of Comet magic at a target. This Legendary Elden Ring spell absolutely shreds enemies, but you must keep your FP up and find ways to abuse its damage output.

How To Get Comet Azur

Comet Azur can be earned by grabbing it off Primeval Sorcerer Azur 's body in the Altus Plateau. The location can be a bit tricky to reach, so here are a couple of steps to help Tarnished find Master Azur:

  • Fast-travel to Seethewater River Site of Lost Grace, on a lower level west of Wyndham Ruins.
  • Summon Torrent and run into the swamp until the Craftsman's Shack can be seen.
  • Keep going east of the shack to find the Hermit Village.
  • Defeat the enemies surrounding the area and go north to find Sorcerer Azur before a great stone bridge leading to another area.

Obtaining the Comet Azur will also unlock new dialogue with Sorceress Sellen regarding her quest in Elden Ring.

Elden Stars is a great incantation that is sort of a combination of Founding Rain of Stars and Flame of the Fell God. An Incantation requires 50 Faith to cast, Elden Stars summons powerful beams that rain down on enemies until a massive slow orb of light lands on them, dealing massive AoE damage and massive Stance damage, all but guaranteeing a Poise break on your next hit.

How To Get Elden Stars

This incantation can be found in Deeproot Depths, which is mainly accessed by interacting with the coffin after fighting the Valiant Gargoyle & Valiant Gargoyle (Twinblade) in the Siofra Aqueduct. Once players light the Site of Lost Grace, summon Torrent and head west while climbing the giant tree branches.

Eventually, a lone branch can be seen to the north, which leads to a cave full of ants. Defeat the enemies or ignore them if possible to loot the Elden Stars from a corpse at the end.

It can be found by defeating the Adan, Thief of Fire boss in Malefactor's Evergaol in Liurnia of the Lakes. The Flame of the Fell God is arguably one of the easiest Legendary Incantations to obtain.

Simply teleport to Liurnia Lake Shore Site of Lost Grace near the Merchant and head northwest while staying close to the wall until a Spirit Spring appears. Use it to reach the higher platform, then turn east to find Adan’s Evergaol.

Founding Rain of Stars is a powerful AoE spell that showers enemies in a small area with multiple tiny beams of light from the sky. When cast on groups of enemies, this is one of the best Elden Ring Legendary spells for AoE damage output, but it's not quite as useful in one-on-one fights. Still, this spell requires a hefty 52 Intelligence to cast.

How To Get Founding Rain of Stars

This spell can be picked up by crossing the invisible bridge in the Mountaintops of the Giants that leads to the Heretical Rise.

From the Snow Valley Ruins Overlook Site of Lost Grace, head east to the broken bridge and walk southeast on the invisible bridge to reach the tower. Climb to the top and open a chest to get the Founding Rain of Stars.

Elden Ring features a huge range of Sorceries for players to master, and finding the best ones in the early game can be key to progressing.

There are a couple of methods players can use to reach Caelid, like teleporting to the Bestial Sanctum through the Waygate northeast of the Third Church of Marika.

How To Get Greyoll's Roar

Upon leaving the Sanctum, summon Torrent and keep going south until a Minor Erdtree boss appears. Ignore it and circle the arena to use the Spirit Spring and reach Fort Faroth, which is where the Mother of all Dragons, Greyroll, can be found. Once the boss is defeated, go to the Cathedral of Dragon Communion towards the south to purchase the spell. Greyroll’s Roar requires 28 Faith and 17 Arcane.

Ranni's Dark Moon is a legendary sorcery that summons a powerful magical orb to chase enemies and explode on impact. It's a bit like Rennala's Full Moon Sorcery, but it travels faster and is smaller, though no less powerful. This Legendary Elden Ringspell is one of the most demanding in the game, and requires 68 Intelligence to equip and cast.

How To Get Ranni's Dark Moon

Towards the end of Ranni’s questline in Elden Ring, Tarnished will eventually find themselves in Moonlight Altar. From the Deep Ainsel Well Site of Lost Grace, head southwest to find Chelona’s Rise, which is locked by a barrier that asks for three wise beasts.

Stars of Ruin is another powerful spell similar to Founding Rain of Stars, except the rays of light aggressively chase opponents similar to the Elden Stars incantation. Stars of Ruin is a kind of companion spell to Comet Azur, being the legendary sorcery whose creation is attributed to Lusat, while Comet Azur was created by Azur. This spell requires the Tarnished to have 43 Intelligence to equip.

How To Get Stars of Ruin

This spell can be found by speaking with Master Lusat at Sellia Hideaway in Caelid. After obtaining Comet Azur:

  • Exhaust Sellen’s dialogue and she’ll give the Sellian Sealbreaker key.
  • Use the Spirit Spring near Fort Faroth to jump down and interact with the illusionary wall behind the tombstones to find a cave entrance.
  • Progress through the Hideaway and reach the lowest level to use the Sellian Sealbreaker key to unlock Master Lusat’s cell.

By completing this part of Sellen's Elden Ring questline, players will get the Stars of Ruin.
