It is no secret that FromSoftware games are difficult, and many players are discovering this for the first time with Elden Ring. One gamer on the other hand posted a video showing that with the right build Elden Ring can almost become a little bit too easy.

Elden Ring can seemingly be as easy or difficult as players choose depending on what combat style they go with, what weapons and armor they select, and what level a player is at when they enter a certain encounter. An example of this is when a streamer tried to take on the Tree Sentinel Boss in Elden Ring too early on in his playthrough and subsequently spent 7 hours attempting to defeat the boss. The difficulty of the boss could easily have been circumvented by the streamer leveling up and returning, however, he continued to try at his current level for more of a challenge and eventually succeeded.

Some players have now noted that one way to make Elden Ring easier is by playing the game as a mage. Gamers have noted that with the correct set of spells and leveling magic users can be extremely overpowered. One player decided to demonstrate this by killing the Black Blade Kindred with a single spell cast.

This shows that Hidetaka Miyazaki may not need to be apologetic to players that find Elden Ring to be too hard. While it may take a while for players to level up in order to gain access to the more powerful spells the game has to offer, mage builds seem to be the way to go for those who are struggling in Elden Ring.

Despite mage builds making the game easier, players will still encounter moments in Elden Ring where they feel embarrassed by being defeated by some of the game's weaker foes. One Elden Ring player posted a video to Reddit showcasing this when they were killed by a ram while accessing the menu screen. This came right after the player had just defeated one of the game's more difficult enemies in the form of a golem.

Some other Elden Ring players have already become skilled enough to try and beat some of the game's bosses using unconventional methods. An example of this is when a player recorded a video of himself defeating an Elden Ring boss using a Nintendo Ring Fit controller. This astonishing feat took only one try and was attempted against one of the game's more unpredictable bosses.

Elden Ring is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
