When Elden Ring was released there were few PvP builds more feared than the Frenzied Flame build. The diversity and range of Frenzied Flame Incantations in Elden Ring is vast - quite literally, as some can hit players across vast distances, while others like Howl of Shabriri are meant to be used point-blank.
Howl of Shabriri is a Madness-building Incantation of the Frenzied Flame family of spells that is best used against other players as most normal enemies throughout Elden Ring are immune to the effect. Getting the Howl of Shabriri Incantation is a bit of a challenge, though, as players must endure a near-constant buildup of Madness near the Incantation's location.
Howl of Shabriri Builds Madness At Close Range

Howl of Shabriri is a very powerful Incantation that causes madness buildup for enemies in close range. Frenzied Flame Incantations are incredibly effective against certain enemy types but not others. As many have experienced on the receiving end, these Incantations are very powerful in PvP against fellow Tarnished, but they also work well against humanoid enemies in PvE.

Howl of Shabriri doesn't take long to cast, but its range is a little bit lacking. If you can snag an enemy in the Howl, though, they take a massive amount of Madness buildup quickly - often enough to fill the meter with one shriek. It has a requirement of 33 Faith to use and a relatively high 21 FP cost, but it's worth it if you find yourself fighting enemies that get too close for comfort. Just keep in mind that Madness also builds in the caster when casting all Frenzied Flame Incantations.
How To Get The Howl of Shabriri Incantation
Howl of Shabriri can be found, appropriately, in the Frenzied Flame Tower in northeastern Liurnia. To get here, head northeast towards the Dectus Lift from the East Raya Lucaria Gate Site of Lost Grace. Just before the lift itself, double back southeast to scale a hill that leads to a raised area above the path you just traveled. Pretty soon after heading up this hill, you will see the Frenzied Flame Tower... or rather, it will see you. The Frenzied Flame Tower intensifies every few seconds to deal a massive amount of Madness buildup in anything it can see.
To get to the Tower, stock up on Crimson Flasks, try the Flame Cleanse Me Incantation to clear Madness buildup, and plan out a route to stay behind obstacles for as much of the way towards the Tower as possible. The Howl of Shabriri Incantation is found on the second floor of this Tower, but it's a good idea to get to the top first. Killing the Frenzied Flame Cultists at the very top stops the Frenzied Flame from manifesting and causing madness buildup in the nearby area.
