Elden Ring - Giant-Conquering Hero's Grave

In Elden Ring, there is only one Flame Monk who has a chance to drop the Monk’s Flameblade. To get the Monk’s Flameblade, players will have to head all the way to the Giant-Conquering Hero's Grave located in Mountaintops of the Giants. While on the map, the Giant-Conquering Hero's Grave appears in the starting area of Mountaintops of the Giants. However, it can only be reached after you have made it to the final area of Mountaintops.

From the Giant’s Gravepost or Foot of the Forge Site of Grace, start heading west in the direction of the Grand Lift of Rold. On the way, you will face several Fingercreepers and trolls, but successfully passing through them will lead you to the Giant-Conquering Hero's Grave.

Enter the Giant-Conquering Hero's Grave and take the lift to reach the room with the Site of Grace. After activating the Site of Grace, take the staircase on the left to find a Flame Monk holding the Monk’s Flamemace. This is not the target, as you have to find the Fire Monk wielding the curved greatsword. From here, take a right turn and roll into the wall in front of you to unveil a hidden area.

Jump down through the windows to find a golden seal on the floor and two invulnerable imps. You can either ignore the imps or lure them into the golden seal to turn them vulnerable and fight.

Now, go into the tunnel to the south which leads to a Flame Monk with the Monk’s Flameblade. Before fighting the Flame Monk, use a throwable projectile like a kukri or arrow to disable the flamethrower trap. Then, move ahead to find the Flame Monk hiding in a corner.

At a base Discovery of 100, this Flame Monk has a 4% chance to drop the Monk’s Flameblade. You can equip the Silver Scarab talisman to improve the chances of dropping the Monk’s Flameblade, and you can also respec your character into an Arcane build to get more Discovery from the Arcane stat. Keep repeatedly fighting the Flame Monk until he drops the Monk’s Fireblade.

Yet, it can be enhanced with Ashes of War to add bleed effects.

Additionally, the inclusion of 'Flame' in its name might mislead some players into thinking the weapon deals fire damage or scales with Faith. However, that's not the case. A standard Monk’s Flameblade scales solely with Strength and Dexterity, dealing physical slash damage. Overall, it is not a great weapon and only good for players who want to collect all weapon types or want to try something new.
