The Weathered Map is a quest item that helps with completing Preceptor Seluvis' Questline in Elden Ring, and can only be acquired from two specific locations, so here's where to track down the Weathered Map.
Elden Ring is an action RPG developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment that follows the journey of the Tarnished, a warrior banished from the Lands Between who has returned due to the guidance of Grace. The titular Elden Ring has shattered, and various Demigods have claimed the fragments. The Tarnished must seek out the Great Runes, Fragments of the Elden Ring, in order to ascend to the throne as Elden Lord.
Seeking the Weathered Map
The Weathered Map is a means of locating a valuable item known as Maber Starlight, which is requested by Preceptor Seluvis during his questline. Allegedly it can be used to produce a potion that could turn even a demigod into a puppet, which sounds pretty ominous. The map is not necessary to complete the questline, but serves as a useful aid in finding the Amber Starlight.
The Weathered Map can be purchased from Pidia, Carian Servant. This NPC can be found in the Caria Manor area after completing the Manor by defeating the boss. Since defeating the boss in Caria Manor is necessary to reach Preceptor Seluvis anyway, this shouldn't be much of a problem. To reach Pidia, players need to find the spot in the Three Sisters area, on the west side of the Manor where they can drop into a previously inaccessible portion of the Manor. This location can be seen on the map above.
Once the player drops into the Manor, they can turn right and drop down a set of wooden platforms to reach the lower part of the roof, then head down the nearby ladder into a balcony area where Pidia can be found.
If the player has killed Pidia, they can instead purchase the map from the Twin Maiden Husks in Roundtable Hold after giving them Pidia's Bell Bearing. Either way, the map costs 600 runes.
Following the map will guide players to a location in Altus Plateau near the Altus Highway Junction Site of Grace, where the Amber Starlight can be found, allowing players to progress Preceptor Seluvis' questline and uncover more of his story.
