Even though Elden Ring offers players an extensive range of gravity skills, the Collapsing Stars spell is special. It may be just what you need for your build. This powerful spell (with equally impressive requirements) creates large magical spheres to pull all enemies in the area in front of you. In addition, contact with the spheres is painful for enemies, so many of them will die before they feel the gravitational effect.

Collapsing Stars can be a great addition to your build for pulling enemies closer for an attack or finishing off weak targets from a distance. However, this spell is not easy to find. You'll have to go down into the depths of an inconspicuous dungeon.

Where To Find the Collapsing Stars Spell

Collapsing Stars Spell location on the map in Elden Ring

To find the Collapsing Stars spell in Elden Ring, players must travel to the eastern part of Caelid and go into the depths of the War-Dead Catacombs. The spell is waiting in a small chest on the left side of the dungeon, so the path should not take too long if you travel through this region for a long time. However, if you have only recently set foot in these dangerous lands, here is a step-by-step guide on how to get to the Collapsing Stars spell:

  • The desired area of the map will be closed when you first visit the region. Head to the southeastern part of Caelid and go through Redmane Castle.
  • At the end of the castle, you will challenge Starscourge Radahn. Once the boss falls, you will unlock a beach on the region's east coast.
  • This beach is one of the emptiest places in terms of content. Instead of lingering here, immediately head to the northernmost corner of the beach until you reach War-Dead Catacombs.
  • Once you enter the Catacombs, go straight and turn left before the first ghost battle. Go down the steps and enter the room with water on the floor.
  • Finally, turn right and take the Collapsing Stars spell from the chest in the middle of the room.

Need a shield with maximum damage absorption? If so, here we have a perfect option for you. Learn how to get Dragonclaw Shield in Elden Ring.

Once you find the Collapsing Stars spell, you must meet the minimum requirement of 36 Intelligence before you can use it. This is a relatively high requirement, but once you reach it, you can create several large spheres that deal decent damage at a distance and pull enemies towards you. This attack can hit multiple enemies, but if you attack the target head-on, all projectiles will hit one enemy. Additionally, if an obstacle or another enemy is in your target's path, the target will most likely not be pulled.
