Unlike many open-world RPGs, Elden Ring does a great job of introducing new ways to play the game through a plethora of different weapons and load-outs. With a tremendous number of items, Spells, and Incantations to choose from, the players can experience the world of Elden Ring in any way they want.

Talismans in the game are a form of accessory that can be fitted into four slots. There are different Talismans for different builds and situations and, while some stand out from the rest on account of how overpowered they are, there are some that can completely overhaul some load-outs in the game. The Axe Talisman is an early game item that the players can get their hands on and start racking up high damage numbers.

Where To Find Axe Talisman in Elden Ring

To acquire the Axe Talisman, you will first have to reach the Mistwood Outskirts Site of Grace, which is located southeast of Limgrave. From the Site of Grace, summon Torrent and head through the forest, making your way south. There are multiple Runebears along the way that can deal a significant amount of damage, so try to avoid them if you can. Soon, you will reach Mistwood Ruins, where a Runebear is sleeping. You can either deal with it or ignore it and go around it. Bear in mind that if you choose to fight it, it will be challenging.

After dealing with the Runebear, go down the staircase near it, which leads to an iron gate. Interact with the gate to find a treasure chest behind it, which contains the Axe Talisman.

What Does The Axe Talisman Do?

Axe Talisman Information in Elden Ring

The Axe Talisman requires 0.8 weight to equip, allowing you to not worry much about total weight being affected. This Talisman increases Charged Attack damage by 10%, but it is worth noting this only refers to Charged Attacks done by melee weapons. Charged sorceries and incantations, as well as weapon skills, do not count.

A great use for this talisman is for heavy weapons or fist weapons. The Charged Attacks of these weapons can deal serious damage and affect an enemy's stance. As Charged Attacks can leave you vulnerable, you can increase your overall poise by wearing a heavy Armor Set such as the Bull-Goat Armor Set paired with the Bull-Goat's Talisman. Equipping these will allow you to charge your attack freely without any interruptions and make use of the Axe Talisman.
