Talking about the latter, the game introduces players to a wide variety of sorceries, surpassing what was seen in previous Soulsborne games. Among them is Scholar’s Armament. Thanks to its excellent resistance, the Tree Sentinel Set is one of the most sought-after armor sets in Elden Ring. Here’s how you can get it.

How to Get and Use Scholar’s Armament in Elden Ring

Scholar’s Armament is one of many sorceries in Elden Ring. Sorceries are a type of magic in the game and require the Intelligence stat. They can have a variety of effects ranging from frostbite to damage negation, so they can be a crucial tool in intense battles.

Scholar’s Armament is available to buy pretty early in the game. You can get it from Sorceress Sellen, who can be found in the Waypoint Ruins region located in Limgrave. You will need 3,000 runes for this particular spell. The FP requirement for this sorcery is 25, and using it will require 12 stamina. If you don’t have enough intelligence, you should consider using the Intelligence-Knot Crystal Tear.

If you have been playing the game for a while, you’d know that sorceries need to be memorized at a Site of Grace, and the Scholar’s Armament is no different. Before you can begin using it, you need to memorize it at a Site of Grace, and once done, it will be assigned to one of your slots. Afterward, you can equip it alongside a sword in your right hand.

It's important to have a sword in your right hand because the Scholar’s Armament spell enchants the weapons in that hand. Once you’ve applied it, your right-hand armament will be buffed with magic damage.

To cast this spell, make sure to hold the Glintstone Staff in your left hand and the weapon in your right hand; otherwise, it won't work. If you're used to fighting with a shield and sword or a different weapon combination, it might take a bit of practice to get used to this combination. It lasts for 90 seconds, and remember that you cannot use it with weapons that have a secondary damage type, such as Fire, Lighting, or Magic.
