Elden Ring is an action RPG set in a place called the Lands Between ruled by demigods. The game’s lore is inspired by Norse mythology, and players play as outsiders who journey through the Lands Between. The ultimate goal is to reach the Great Erdtree and become the Elden Lord by collecting shards of the Elden Ring.

The expansive universe of Elden Ringfeatures many locations, and Liurnia of the Lakes is one of the most important ones. This guide will outline how to get to Liurnia of the Lakes in Elden Ring.

How to Get to Liurnia of the Lakes in Elden Ring

There are two ways to reach the Liurnia of Lakes. One is the obvious and expected route through Stormveil Castle. The castle is guarded by Margit, The Fell Omen. He is one of the first bosses in the game, and players will have to beat him to advance. Once players have defeated Margit, the Fell Omen, they will need to move through the castle and defeat Godrick the Grafted.

Godrick the Grafted, also known as Godrick the Golden, is the ruler of Stormveil Castle and another demigod boss in the game. Once players have defeated both of these bosses, they can leave the castle from the Lake Facing Cliffs entrance to reach Liurnia of the Lakes.

There’s another way of getting to Liurnia of Lakes, which does not require players to pass through Stormveil Castle. For that, they will have to head north from Stormhill Shack. To the left of this path is Stormveil Castle and its two bosses. Instead of moving left, players should continue on the path. After a while, they will reach a bridge. They’ll need to cross the bridge, and below, they’ll see some rubble. Hop off the bridge into the rubble and follow the bridge ruins. Next, they will need to go left, which will reveal a path along the cliffside.

Players need to be extremely cautious while passing through this path, as it can be dangerous, and falling is a risk. Watch out for packs of wolves along the way; players might have to fight them or, if possible, try to avoid them. The path leads from a forest area to a plain region, revealing the Lake-Facing Cliffs Site of Grace. That’s it; players can rest at this Site of Grace to refill their flasks and enable fast travel to Liurnia of the Lakes.
