To get the Venomous Fang in Elden Ring, follow these steps:

  1. Look for the Abandoned Cave in Caelid.
  2. The cave is located in the middle of Caelid, northwest of Redmane Castle. The cave can only be accessed via an ashen white tree branch. Traversing on the broken tree branch requires incredible precision.
  3. After reaching the cave, unlock the Site of Grace.
  4. Drop down and turn left towards a massive Rot Lake. Players can traverse this lake if they have Preserving Boluses to prevent an instant death.
  5. Keep heading straight towards the Stake of Marika. Here, turn right and keep heading straight by sticking to the ledge.
  6. Drop down the ledge and enter a small tunnel.
  7. Follow the tunnel to come across a diverging path. Kill the rats there and turn right.
  8. Follow the butterflies and use the dead bodies to climb to a ledge.
  9. Clear all the enemies and locate the dead body at the end of the platform.
  10. Interact with the dead body to acquire the Venomous Fang.

Players must eliminate many enemies to acquire the Venomous Fang, so they must prepare beforehand to avoid getting killed instantly.

Why get the Venomous Fang?

The Venomous Fang is a poisonous weapon that increases poison attack with each attack (72 damage). The weapon also does tremendous base damage to enemies (92 damage). Additionally, the Venomous Fang has the Deadly Poison ability that triples the amount of poison damage against enemies, albeit it reduces poison damage time. Other than that, Venmous Fang can be wielded early on in the game without needing a huge amount of stats, and it can be equipped in both hands.

Players need at least nine Dexterity and Strength to equip the Venomous Fang.

While the Venomous Fang has no unique weapon skill, it can be imbued with Ashes of War for exceptional PVP builds.
