Elden Ring: How to Get Bloodrose

Elden Ring: Bloodrose

Depending on your progress in the game, you can use the method that suits you best, so let's talk about each one in more detail.

Find It Manually

Rose Church and Fort Haight in Elden Ring (location on the map)

The first and easiest method is to find Bloodrose manually while traveling the world. Yes, this consumable is quite rare if you don't know where to look. In general, there are many locations where you can find several Bloodrose, but the best ones are the following:

  • Rose Church - The best place to collect Bloodrose. Here you can find as many as nine bushes, but be careful because there are quite a lot of enemies.
  • Fort Haight - Six Bloodrose bushes are growing around this location, so you can collect the required amount quickly.

If you have collected all the Bloodrose at one of these locations, use the rest, and then the bushes will respawn again.

Buy From an Imprisoned Merchant

Elden Ring: the Imprisoned Merchant location on the map

If you don't want to spend time searching for this consumable manually, you can buy Bloodrose from the Imprisoned Merchant. You can find this NPC in the tunnels to the left of the entrance to the Mohgwyn Dynasty Mausoleum. The price for one Bloodrose is 800 Runes. Compared to some other items of this merchant, you can buy an unlimited amount of this consumable.

Get as Loot From Enemies

The last method for more experienced players will be killing enemies that drop Bloodrose after death. There are only two types of such enemies in the game:

  • Putrid Corpse - Can be found all over the world, the chance of dropping Bloodrose is 8%.
  • Sanguine Noble - Can be found in Writheblood Ruins, the chance of dropping Bloodrose is 15%.

This is a really effective way because, in addition to the chance to get Bloodrose, after killing enemies you will also receive Runes, which can be used to buy this consumable from the Imprisoned Merchant.

How to Use Bloodrose

Elden Ring: Bloodbone Arrow

As mentioned above, Bloodrose is used to create useful items. In fact, there are not many recipes where this consumable is required, but these items can come in handy:

  • Bloodbone Arrow
  • Bloodbone Arrow (Fletched)
  • Bloodbone Bolt
  • Blood Grease
  • Cursed-Blood Pot Icon
  • Drawstring Blood Grease

In addition, you can also sell Bloodrose. The selling price is only 10 Runes, which is quite unprofitable, so it's better to save this item in your inventory.
