Although Elden Ring, at its core, is an incredibly robust single-player adventure, it does pack in a pretty interesting and entertaining multiplayer mechanic. The ability for players to summon cooperators along the way to aid them in their journey gives an extra bit of help to those that may be struggling in a particularly difficult area. But it also gives players that enjoy competition and the idea of invasions a chance to flex their skills against groups of enemies by making their way into their game world.

It provides a solid balance and although there are some out there that may be miffed by the multiplayer mechanic in terms of PvP, there are others that thrive on the mode and play it for hours upon hours, long after the single-player credits have finished rolling. For those that enjoy the PvP side of Elden Ring, there are a ton of unique weapons, armor sets, and spells that can help them gain an advantage over their marks. Two spells, in particular, can greatly affect how players react to an invader, thanks to their wild ability that can turn weapons (and players) invisible. Here's how players can find the Unseen Blade sorcery.

Where To Find The Unseen Blade And Unseen Form Sorceries In Elden Ring

Elden Ring Mirage Rise Go Up

Finding the Unseen Blade requires players to first find and unlock a puzzle, which is a bit more difficult than the other brainteasers in Elden Ring as the area that players must unlock is completely hidden. Not hidden behind an illusionary wall, or down a dark pathway, but actually hidden, as in it's completely invisible when players first come across it. Thankfully, nearby is a Stone Imp statue, and interacting with it will let players know that they need "touch three Phantom Crests." The statue will also give players a map, which they can reference in their inventory to help them discover where the three crests lie.

To reach the puzzle itself, players need to travel to Altus Plateau, by either climbing the Ruin-Strewn Precipice or piecing together the Dectus Medallion to ride the first Grand Lift. Once there, they should head North until they eventually come to the Bower of Bounty Site of Grace. The Mirage Rise puzzle is located West of this location, nearby the tower shape which shows up on the map.

The first crest is right next to the Imp Statue which gives players the map. The second is located directly South and is protected by a group of seemingly endlessly spawning Imp spirits that will attack the player until the crest is touched. The third and final crest is located to the East, near the dilapidated stone bridge. Players will need to find an Illusionary Rock and strike it to cause the crest to appear. Once all three crests have been located and touched, players can return to the area of the tower and head inside. Climbing up a nearby ladder (obscured by the darkness) will take players to the top and reward them with a chest containing the Unseen Blade and Unseen Form sorceries. There is also a Slumbering Egg on the corpse nearby the desk.

What Do Unseen Blade And Unseen Form Do?

Elden Ring Unseen Blade

Unseen Blade has the unique ability to make the players right-hand armament completely invisible once cast. It requires 18 FP to cast and 12 Intelligence to equip. Once used, it will buff the player's weapon and turn it invisible, which will also remove and other buffs the player has on that weapon. If the player tries to buff the weapon while invisible it will remove the invisibility. The effect will last for approximately 45 seconds each cast.

Elden Ring Unseen Form

Unseen Form acts similarly but obscures the player and their horse, allowing them to sneak around undetected. It is important to note that this effect is not nearly as strong as Unseen Blade and only partially obscures the player, making them still fairly visible to other players. The spell costs 20 FP to use and requires 16 Intelligence to equip. Once used, the effect will shroud players for approximately 30 seconds. It appears that the buff stops working if the player equips the Black Knife Armor set, which has a similar effect.

Both of these items can be particularly useful in PvP, although Unseen Blade is a much better spell as it will completely obscure the players weapon and make it harder to guess what the player is using when they attack an enemy.
