Elden Ring makes it pretty simple to make a powerful spell-slinger. There are so many spells, incantations, and abilities for players to unlock and many of them are capable of dishing out serious amounts of damage to enemies. Pair that with a wide array of armor sets and weapons that come with their own magical buffs, and it's easy to see why it's so easy for mages to excel on certain bosses.

That said, there are some spells that can turn a middling mage into an ultra-powerful seemingly-unstoppable magical juggernaut. A great example of this is Terra Magica, a buff spell that will cause any player's magic to dish out quite a bit more damage, which can make powerful spells like Comet Azur and Rock Sling hit much harder. Any aspiring mage will want to carry Terra Magica with them through their Elden Ring journey. Here's where to find it.

Where To Find Terra Magica In Elden Ring

Elden Ring Terra Magica Location

Those that want to get their hands on Terra Magica will need to first head to Liurnia of the Lakes. The sorcery is found at the end of a cave, which can be difficult to spot for those that aren't actively searching every nook and cranny of the expansive area. Thankfully, players can reach this area without stepping foot into Raya Lucaria Academy, even though the cave will eventually lead to a previously inaccessible part of the zone. It's also possible to reach this particular area before taking on Godrick, by skipping Stormveil Castle. This is great for players that want to increase their damage before taking on the first Demi-God.

The first step in finding Terra Magica is to reach Academy Crystal Cave. The entrance is located west of Raya Lucaria Academy, near the Crystalline Forest Site of Grace. From that Site of Grace, players can head East and hug the island-wall that outlines Raya Lucaria Academy on the map. Moving South along this wall, players should eventually spot a mist gate and Stone Imp that requires a Stonesword Key to open. Once players breach the barrier, they'll be inside the Academy Crystal Cave.

It's recommended that players use a torch or lantern to navigate some of the cave as it can be a bit dark. Once players make it to the boss room, they'll need to do battle with two Crystalians, one with a staff, and the other with a spear. Players that have yet to fight these bosses (or any like them) will first need to chip away at their protective shield until they stagger. This will cause their tough shield to break and cause them to take additional damage. Once players have beaten the bosses, they can take the elevator at the back of the room and proceed up the tower in a previously inaccessible part of Raya Lucaria to a chest waiting at the top of a winding staircase. Sitting at the summit is a chest containing Terra Magica.

What Does Terra Magica Do?

Terra Magica is a rather straightforward Glintstone Sorcery. Using it will place a large Glintstone Glyph on the ground. Any player that is standing inside this mark will gain 35 percent increase magical damage to all sources. This can go a long way in buffing spells and other magical items. Players need to be within the circle to get the effect of the buff. It lasts around 30 seconds and will cost players 20 FP each time they wish to cast it. Those that are looking to carry Terra Magica with them will need at least 20 Intelligence to be able to cast the spell and gain the buff.
