While Elden Ringoffers players a large variety of weapons, Greatswords fans won't find anything better than the Sacred Relic Sword . After all, besides the fact that this weapon has one of the highest Holy Damage rates, it has the best potential for fast and stable farming of runes. The unique Wave of Gold skill inflicts colossal Holy damage over a wide area in front of the player, killing everything in its path.

However, great power requires no less outstanding achievements, which exactly describes the Sacred Relic Sword. Created from the remains of an immortal God, this greatsword recognizes as its owner only the one who defeats the strongest boss and presents its trophy as payment for strength.

Where to Find Sacred Relic Sword in Elden Ring

Enia in Elden Ring

The only way to get the Sacred Relic Sword in Elden Ring is to exchange it for Elden Remembrance by visiting Enia. You can find this ancient woman in the Roundtable Hold, a location outside of The Lands Between that players can unlock after completing one of Melina's quests. However, this is far from the main problem since the main difficulty is getting Elden Remembrance.

Elden Remembrance is a rare consumable item that can only be obtained by defeating the final boss, Elden Beast. For this, players must travel to Leyndell, Ashen Capital, and complete story quests to open the passage to Erdtree. Once inside, you will find a fierce battle with Radagon of the Golden Order Boss, but it will seem like a cakewalk compared to the fight with Elden Beast. This boss has no weaknesses, has a dozen skills, is immune to many types of damage, and its health is higher than anything you have seen before. This battle will be a real challenge, but Elden Remembrance is a worthy reward for all the suffering.

Once you have this item, you can head to Enia NPC and exchange it for a Sacred Relic Sword or Marika's Hammer. Both weapons have good Holy damage and long reach, so choose wisely based on your playstyle.

Sacred Relic Sword Abilities

Sacred Relic Sword in Elden Ring

While the Sacred Relic Sword has decent damage and is a good weapon for Faith/Dex builds, the main strength of this greatsword lies in its unique Wave of Gold skill. After spending 2 seconds charging the attack, you fire a long-reaching and expanding wave of Holy energy that deals massive damage to everyone in front of the player. This attack allows players to almost instantly destroy dozens of enemies like Undead without letting them get close to you.

Of course, this weapon is far from ideal since it is not so effective against bosses. Additionally, it scales poorly through strength and can't be infused with Ashes of War. However, at this stage of progress, you are unlikely to find anything more effective for destroying almost any crowd of simple enemies. It will allow you to avoid spending time farming runes and fighting routine enemies. Instead, you can devote your time to more essential post-story content.
