In the journey through the perilous and majestic Lands Between of Elden Ring, players will discover a wide variety of armor sets. For veteran soulsborne gamers, fashion plays a crucial role, particularly when the only sense of style in these games is conveyed through the diverse armor sets. There are armor sets tailored for all types of builds, from sorcerers to strength knights, magic knights, and more. However, not all armors are meant solely for defense advantages; a few are designed for players to blend into their surroundings, such as the Mushroom armor set.

The Mushroom armor set is a light armor set with mushrooms growing all over it. With the Balled Up gesture, players can blend in with the floor while wearing the Mushroom armor. This unique armor set isn’t only known for its camouflage. The Mushroom set boasts an impressive high immunity stat, significantly slowing down the buildup of Rot and Poison status effects. Hence, the Mushroom armor set proves invaluable when traversing hazardous regions like the Lake of Rot, the rotted swamps of Caelid, and the venomous marshlands scattered across the Lands Between. Here’s how you can get the Mushroom armor set in Elden Ring.

Elden Ring: Mushroom Armor Set Location

Elden Ring Seethewater Cave Location

The Mushroom armor set is located inside the Seethewater Cave found north of the Seethewater River site of grace in Altus Plateau. You will need a stonesword key to unlock the cave's entrance. Seethewater Cave isn’t a large cave and should be easy to explore. However, players do need to be careful about the poisonous swamps on the floor of the cave. Having some Neutralizing Boluses or the Flame! Cleanse Me incantation can help in removing the poison status buildup.

Other than poison, players will also have to deal with the Kindred of Rot enemies sprawling inside the Seethewater Cave. After entering the Seethewater Cave, players will find two Leyndell soldiers guarding the poisonous area. Go past them to find a hole leading to the bottom area of the cave. Go past all mushroom enemies and slimes to reach a waterfall.

Drop down the waterfall and head north to find a tunnel taking you back to a cliff. On the right side of the cliff, there will be a room with many mushroom enemies praying to a Giant Miranda Sprout. Next to this flower enemy is a corpse with the Mushroom armor set.

After picking up the Mushroom armor set, you can jump down from the previous cliff and go back to the waterfall and take the second path leading to another hole which leads to the Seethewater Cave’s boss fight - two Kindreds of Rot. Defeating them will reward you with the Kindred of Rot's Exultation talisman and then let you safely leave the cave.

Mushroom Crown Location

The Mushroom armor set has another headgear located in the Lake of Rot. From the Lake of Rot Shore site of grace, head southeast to find a bunch of broken pillars. The Mushroom Crown is located on top of an inclined pillar. On the way to the Mushroom Crown, you might awaken a sleeping Dragonkin Soldier. If you stick to the edge of the Lake of Rot, you can safely make it to the pillar and get the Mushroom Crown.

Like other pieces of the Mushroom armor set, the Mushroom Crown also has a high immunity. Most importantly, the Mushroom Crown grants a sweet 10% damage buff when Poison or Rot occurs nearby. This effect stacks with the 20% damage buff from the Kindred of Rot's Exultation talisman. Players with Scarlet Rot or Poison builds can benefit hugely from the Mushroom Crown, while the rest of the armor set can be put on for purely aesthetic purposes.
