Elden Ring offers a wide variety of unique talismans to enhance your builds. These talismans can boost stats, increase elemental damage, enhance sorceries, improve damage negation, and much more. While most talismans are combat-oriented, some aid in survival and exploration of the Lands Between. One such talisman is the Crimson Seed, which lets you recover extra HP from drinking Crimson Flasks.

Losing HP is a common experience in Elden Ring, as many enemies can take you down with just a few hits. For this reason, players might end up using Crimson Flasks too frequently, leaving them short in two-phased boss fights like those against Godfrey, Malenia, and the final boss. If you want to save some Crimson Flasks, the Crimson Seed talisman is a must-have in Elden Ring.

Follow this guide to learn about the location of the Crimson Seed in Elden Ring.

To obtain the Crimson Seed talisman, head to the Sainted Hero’s Grave in Altus Plateau. This location is in the center of Altus Plateau. You can reach the Sainted Hero’s Grave by going west from the Rampartside Path site of grace. If you haven’t unlocked this site of grace yet, go to the Outer Wall Battleground site of grace, which is on the path to Leyndell. From here, head through the large northwest entrance and follow the path south to find the Rampartside Path site of grace.

Upon reaching the Sainted Hero’s Grave, you will face a Black Knife Assassin at the entrance. Defeating this enemy will reward you with the legendary dagger, Black Knife . After defeating the assassin, enter the Sainted Hero’s Grave and take the lift down. In the site of grace room, you will find a small room locked behind a fog wall. Use a Stonesword Key to remove the fog wall and enter the room to find a Wraith Caller guarding the chest containing the Crimson Seed talisman. The Wraith Caller won’t cause much trouble; defeat it and the Crimson Seed talisman is yours to claim.

What the Crimson Seed Talisman Does in Elden Ring

Elden Ring - Crimson seed talisman description

The Crimson Seed is a simple and easy-to-use talisman in Elden Ring. When equipped, this talisman increases the HP recovered by a Flask of Crimson Tears by 20%. The best thing about the Crimson Seed talisman is that you won’t have to keep a talisman slot assigned for it. You can equip this talisman only when you need to restore HP, then switch it with your regular talismans.

The Crimson Seed talisman is especially handy in PVP fights. When invading another player in Elden Ring, you may face multiple enemies waiting for you. If you fail to manage your number of Flasks of Crimson Tears, you may lose the fight. Using the Crimson Seed talisman, you can recover extra HP every time you drink a Flask of Crimson Tears. However, relying solely on this talisman isn’t highly recommended. It is better to carry a basic healing incantation like Bestial Vitality or the Blessed Dew Talisman for overtime healing.
