Elden Ring has about 100 different talismans that players can collect. These items can be a great boon in the Lands Between, as they bestow various special effects on the player character. Not all the talismans can be equipped at once, however, because four talisman slots are the highest total that can be equipped at one time. Due to this, players sometimes switch up talismans depending on various locations and boss battles.

From a numbers standpoint, one of the best talismans in Elden Ring is the Graven-Mass Talisman, though it is most useful for players that have sorcery builds. The talisman gives the player character a potency increase of eight percent for all sorcery magic. However, it is not an item that can be found easily and requires going deep into the Lands Between.

Location In The Consecrated Snowfield

Albinauric Rise location on map.

The Consecrated Snowfield in itself is an optional area, but one that allows players to access Miquella's Haligtree. It also holds the sub-locations where the Grave-Mass Talisman can be found. The sub-location is in the Albinauric Rise. To access the Consecrated Snowfield, the player must get both parts of the Haligtree Secret Medallion. One is found in Liurnia of the Lakes (given by NPC in the Village of the Albinaurics) and the other is at the Mountaintops of the Giants (dropped by Commander Niall at Castle Sol).

Once both pieces of the medallion are obtained, the player can use them at the Grand Lift of Rold and get access to the Consecrated Snowfield. From there, the player must travel to Albinauric Rise, which is at the eastern part of the map next to a frozen river. Getting there is easy, but there is a puzzle to complete to access the top floor where the Graven-Mass Talisman sits.

Albinauric Rise Walkthrough

Imps in snowfield.

The entrance to the tower will be sealed, and two Imps will be fighting each other nearby. These Imps are actually a clue to the puzzle. Basically, the puzzle requires imps to fight each other, with one being killed. There are two ways to solve this puzzle, each requiring a different item.

The first way to solve the puzzle requires Fanged Imp Ashes (can be purchased from Merchant in Raya Lucaria Academy for two thousand Runes). Summon these ashes and kill one of the imps. This can unseal the tower. The second way to do this is by having Crystal Darts or a Bewitching Branch. Use one of these items on one of the imps to get them to kill each other. Once the door is unsealed, go to the top of the tower. The Graven-Mass Talisman will be in a chest.

Elden Ring is available now for PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox One and Series X|S.
