Mt Gelmir and the Corpse-Stench Shack
Players seeking to learn Golden Vow will first need to head to the Mt Gelmir region of Altus Plateau, which can be found most easily by following the quest lines of Patches or Rya. It can also be found by riding northwest across Altus Plateau and locating the rope bridge that leads into the region.
The Mt Gelmir First Campsite Site of Grace is the ideal starting point for locating Golden Vow, and can be found on the far side of the bridge leading into Mt Gelmir.
Following the road past the Leyndell Soldiers and Iron Virgins will eventually lead to a shack with a broken bridge just beyond it. This is the Corpse-Stench Shack, and players will likely first know they've found it because Anastasia will invade them. Anastasia can be tricky to engage in combat, but it's worth killing her while in the area as she drops her cleaver and a furlcalling finger remedy.

The Golden Vow incantation is a spell passed down by the Knights of the Capital City, Leyndell. It allows the user to swear an oath that grants them, and nearby allies, enhanced attack power and defense power. It is a very useful incantation for builds that combine the use of weapons and incantations. It has a relatively short casting time that makes it easy to find an opening to use it in battle.
The spell costs 47 FP to cast and requires a faith stat of 25 in order to use it.
To make the most of this incantation, players should ensure they are nearby to as many of their allies as possible when activating the spell so that it strengthens everyone. Using it right before beginning a fight is the easiest way to accomplish this, although taking advantage of the lull in combat after an enemy is stunned is also an excellent way to reapply it if it wears off.
Alternatives
If a player does not meet the stat requirements for this incantation but still wishes to make use of it, there is an Ash of War that allows players to use this incantation as a weapon art. As weapon arts do not have stat requirements, this is an excellent way of gaining access to a powerful buff on any build. The Ash of War is dropped by a mounted knight in Limgrave, found east of the Warmaster's Shack near the cliffs.
