The Giants’ Mountaintop Catacombs is an old labyrinth full of deep tunnels that lead to the Elden Ring underground. It can be reached immediately after taking the Grand Lift of Rold, so players don’t need to explore the Mountaintops of the Giants that much.
The entrance to the Giants’ Mountaintop Catacombs is somewhat hidden, and after finding it, there are multiple Elden Ring enemies guarding the entrance. Keep in mind that the catacomb won’t be easy to complete, as it’s full of traps and confusing routes.
How To Complete The Giants’ Mountaintop Catacombs In Elden Ring
Like most catacombs, the door leading to the boss' room is locked by some mechanism, so players need to find the lever that’ll open the door. From the Giants’ Mountaintop Catacombs Site of Lost Grace, head down the stairs and go right to the north. An Imp will throw knives from the end of the room, and another one will drop from the ceiling.
After killing the Imps, continue forward north and follow the path to use the first elevator that’ll go down, leading Elden Ring players to the boss location. Now, proceed left to a room full of three imps; one will ambush, and two will throw pots from afar. Kill them, then use the second elevator that has chains.
Move south to a large room that has a statue and make a way to the right, climb the stairs, and go to another room on the left without stepping on the trap.
This area is full of giant blades going up and down as well as Exploding Living Jars. Before moving on, Bait the jars one by one to the room’s entrance to minimize the damage when crossing the room.
Proceed south, then enter the room to the left and climb another set of stairs to be greeted by multiple Land Squirts. Keep moving forward while ignoring the Elden Ring enemies and exit the room quickly to enter another one.
Without stepping on the trap, drop from the window to the left, then drop again. The area may look similar, but it’s a different room full of exploding Living Jars.
Head north to a chained elevator and activate it but stay on the ground, as it will reveal a path. Leap down to the Giant Elden Ring Jar and go south. Make way around the platform and pull the lever to open the boss' room. Jump down, and use the elevator to the north to reach the boss.
How To Get To The Giants’ Mountaintop Catacombs In Elden Ring
The Giants’ Mountaintop Catacombs is located east of the Zamor Ruins in the Mountaintops of the Giant in Elden Ring. Teleport to Zamor Ruins Site of Lost Grace and head southeast until a broken wall appears, then continue east.
Circle the rocks and proceed northwest, then turn northeast once the path splits. Climb the slope until the end and jump down near the Fire Monks group. Descend another slope and proceed south to find the Giants’ Mountaintop Catacombs entrance.
