Only 27 days remain before Elden Ring finally releases. While many are looking forward to experiencing Elden Ring's hours of content, another fight has begun before the game's launch. However, this one has nothing to do with terrifying areas or enemies; instead, many fans are currently fighting to survive the game's constant waves of spoilers, hoping to make it to the game's launch without ruining story elements.

Elden Ring spoilers have been circling the internet for months, and another round of spoilers recently hit the internet. This time, the spoilers came from a GameInformer article, and many Elden Ring fans were quick to warn others about the article so that the spoilers could be avoided.

However, instead of warning other fans or avoiding spoilers, some fans decided to make light of the situation, creating memes that satirize the new spoilers. With much of the news surrounding Elden Ring being on the more serious side, a wave of memes is a breath of fresh air for fans who wish to ignore spoiler season. The first of these memes was created by Reddit user Acutebutobtuseangle and shows a sped-up clip of a Dark Souls 3 player fighting a rapidly-spinning Dancer.

The second meme, posted by HahaLookyHere, teases fans who looked at the GameInformer article, wondering why fans were surprised that the article contained spoilers for the game.

The last of the memes was posted by Helit80, who made light of their own actions concerning spoilers and the article.

It was almost as though these three memes were made as a set, with each of them depicting a different fan reaction to Elden Ring spoilers. Also, each of them are directly comparable to a Dark Souls character in their tone. Acutebutobtuseangle's meme would have certainly been posted by Solaire, who is constantly fighting to survive among the spoilers and achieve the goal of playing the game. HahaLookyHere's meme made fun of fans foolish enough to think a GameInformer article wouldn't contain spoilers, wondering what the fans could have been thinking; this meme would certainly be posted by Patches, who constantly laughs at players' mistakes. Helit80's meme was the saddest story among the trio, with the user describing their own losing fight against the endless tide of spoilers, and is directly comparable to poor Artorias losing to the abyss.

Dark Souls characterization aside, these three memes were absolutely hilarious, and showed how players handle the dangers of spoiler season. With Elden Ring's release just around the corner, fans luckily won't have to avoid spoilers for much longer, as they will have firsthand access to the game. Those who wish to avoid spoiler season should check out some of Miyazaki's comments about games after Elden Ring, thus avoiding spoilers and satisfying their craving for FromSoftware news simultaneously.
