While playing Elden Ring, one player facing a Flame Chariot ended up defeating the enemy in an unexpected, but funny way. Despite the game's enemies being notoriously difficult to fight, this Elden Ring player happened to catch a lucky break in the middle of combat.

After being out for a little over a year now, Elden Ring is still going strong as one of the best action RPGs to be released in recent years. Known for its incredibly challenging combat and rich, mysterious world, new players are coming to Elden Ring every day. However, when it comes to the game's combat, the various enemies that can be found in Elden Ring present players with varying levels of difficulty, and this keeps many fans of the game addicted. Although it can sometimes be a real slog to defeat certain enemies, finally felling an adversary is an incredibly rewarding feeling for many players. However, sometimes these enemies are defeated in ways that a player may have not intended.

Reddit user ExaminedLiving shared a clip of their lucky break to the Elden Ring subreddit. While having the high ground in a fight against a Flame Chariot, the Flame Chariot turns around and wheels itself off a cliff, plummeting to its death. There have been many impressive Elden Ring kills, but this particular one is a hilarious accident.

As the Flame Chariot falls to its unexpected demise, ExaminedLiving's character standing on the cliff edge in disbelief makes the clip even funnier. A Flame Chariot can be a fairly difficult enemy to fell in Elden Ring, but it seems like this particular one just didn't feel like staying in the fight. Since Elden Ring can be such a challenging and tiring combat experience for many players, ExaminedLiving was probably relieved to get an easy win over one of the many enemies that they have encountered throughout the game.

There have been countless times when an Elden Ring fight didn't go as planned, and this can now be added to the extensive list of those instances. Although winning a fight this way probably wasn't as rewarding for ExaminedLiving, it's at least an unforgettable moment that shows how Elden Ring can still surprise players in the most random ways.

Elden Ring is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
