Elden Ring: Shadow Of The Erdtree not only adds a huge new map to explore but also gives players all sorts of new weapons and spells to find and use. One of these spells players can find early on is Glintblade Trio.

Much like the original sorcery Magic Glintblade , Glintblade Trio offers a slight delay in the cast time, letting players work on a delayed attack to better combo and stagger their enemies. This spell is a direct upgrade from the original and offers a useful new tool for those just getting started in Shadow Of The Erdtree.

This spell works like the original in that players must lock onto an enemy before casting, with three Glintblades charging up and casting after a short delay. This spell will follow an enemy should they move after it is initially cast, but it will become less accurate should the enemy get close and move quickly. Despite the trio of blades, only one enemy can be targeted, but the overall damage is greatly increased compared to the original. The low Intelligence cost makes this spell a great option for those who only use Sorceries as an extra tool and haven't reached incredibly high Intelligence.

Where To Find Glintblade Trio In Elden Ring: Shadow Of The Erdtree

One of the first major locations in Shadow Of The Erdtree is Castle Ensis, found by following the main road north after entering the DLC area and crossing Ellac Greatbridge. The castle itself is fairly linear, and players will first need to progress through the castle until they reach the chapel with Moonrithyll, Carian Knight.

After defeating Moonrithyll and heading through the chapel, players will reach an iron gate that will need to be opened. After going through the opened iron gate, immediately look to the left and drop down to the ground below. Head towards the body near the edge to pick up three Dewgem . Look to the left and around the chapel to find two ladders leading up to the roof. Be wary of the enemy waiting to attack you after climbing the second ladder.

Once the roof has been cleared, face west and look to the right between the two larger structures to see another ledge to drop down to. On that ledge and hanging over the edge will be a body that can be looted to obtain the Glintblade Trio sorcery.
