Blade Of Mercy Talisman Location In Elden Ring: Shadow Of The Erdtree

To find the Blade of Mercy , you need to reach the small room located at the very top of the Scorched Ruins in Elden Ring. The first step is to go straight to the archway that leads to the open field where the Furnace Golem is roaming around, as this will be the starting point. Next, head west and climb the stairs while defeating a couple of enemies along the way.

From there, proceed south up the slope, then up the stairs to find two enemies on the left side throwing rocks from an upper level. Use the roof as leverage to jump up and defeat them, then proceed forward. Go east and walk on the roofs covered by red cloth to finally reach a door. Open it to find a chest containing the Blade of Mercy Talisman in Elden Ring.

The Blade of Mercy raises attack power after each critical hit. In other words, you will inflict more damage in the hits following a critical attack. Essentially, the enemy will be staggered when their stance is broken and will have a glowing gold area in their weak spot. There are many forms of critical attacks players can perform to stagger enemies:

  • Backstabbing enemies by sneaking behind them or going around them in battle.
  • Using Sleep Pot or Sleepbone Arrow , forces certain enemies to enter a Sleep state, making them vulnerable to critical attacks.
  • Some bosses, like the Night’s Cavalry, can be staggered when they fall off their mount.
  • Parrying enemies enough times to break their Stance.
  • Using successive attacks or heavy weapons to break enemies or bosses' stances.
