Where To Find Count Ymir In Shadow Of The Erdtree

Elden Ring - Shadow Of The Erdtree - Path To Cathedral Of Manus Metyr and Count Ymir

Count Ymir is located in the Catherdral of Manus Metyr in the eastern region of the map. You can get to this cathedral in two ways:

Whichever way you choose to reach Scadu Altus, make sure to discover the Moorth Ruins Site of Grace, which is where the journey to finding the cathedral begins.

From the Moorth Ruins, head east to find an opening in the ruins below. Carefully descend to the bottom and follow a tunnel leading southeast towards a ladder.

Climb the ladder to reach Bonny Village. Travel northwest over two bridges to discover the Bridge Leading to the Village Site of Grace.

Follow the road north until you reach the Cathedral of Manus Metyr. Here, you can interact with Count Ymir and accept his task.

How To Complete Count Ymir’s Favor

To complete Count Ymir’s task, you must head all the way to the southern region of the map to discover the Cerulean Coast. From the Cerulean Coast Site of Grace, ride south and past the Ghostflame Dragon. Continue riding until you find the map fragment pillar. Collect the map fragment, and take an immediate left through the ruins.

Now, travel northeast to find a shoreline, and follow it all the way to reach another ruined region.

Ride north of the ruins, and once you reach its end, turn northeast, and parkour your way to find the Finger Ruins of Rhia, and the corresponding Site of Grace.

From the Finger Ruins of Rhia, ride northeast while sticking to the rocky descent along the hill. Once you’re on flat ground, ride north to find the Hanging Bell.

Sound the Hanging Bell to acquire the Crimson Seed Talisman +1 . You have now completed Count Ymir’s first task, and you can now return to him for further dialogue. You can purchase the Glintstone Nail and Glintstone Nails sorceries from Count Ymir for 12,000 runes each.

Casting the Glintstone Nail sorcery, shoots a shattering nail at the enemy. However, the Glintstone Nails fires a set of six shattering nails at the enemy. If the sorcery misses the target, it circles back, and tries to make it to the target, which makes it excellent against enemies that tend to dodge spells.
