The Divine Beast Dancing Lion is considered one of the most difficult bosses in the Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, with some going to the extent of calling it one of the worst-designed FromSoftware bosses of all time.

As is the case with every FromSoftware game, the difficulty level of Elden Ring's Shadow of the Erdtree DLC has been a talking point since the expansion's release. The video reveals that the Divine Beast Dancing Lion is in reality simply two human models carrying the suit. In the front part, a model is standing and holding the lion's head with their hands.

Elden Ring's Divine Beast Dancing Lion Seems Much Less Terrifying To Fans After Dissection

What makes it quite ridiculous is that all the animations of the head are performed by the hands moving it in a specific way which is far from what anyone would've expected from a horrifying monster. In fact, Elden Ring players noted in the comments section that they initially thought it was a grafted abomination.

The back part of the model is even more hilarious, as it has a human model kneeling down to represent the Divine Beast Dancing Lion's hind legs. The video goes on to show the boss fight with the dissected model, and while it doesn't necessarily make the boss fight any easier, it certainly takes away all the intimidation for players who have been struggling to take down the Elden Ring boss.

While the Divine Beast Dancing Lion is considered one of the most frustrating bosses in the Elden Ring's Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, fans have not shied away from praising certain aspects of the battle. For instance, its creative moveset has gained a lot of appreciation, alongside its background music which switches based on the element the boss is using.
