An Elden Ring fan who goes by gravitydusty created a concept that shows what Ranni the Witch might have looked like back when she was alive and known as Lunar Princess Ranni. The official storyline confirmed that Ranni did not die in a traditional sense, but she transcended her previous physical form. The fan-made concept shows Ranni adorned in a dark cloak with gold accents on the sleeves and hems. Her bracelets share a similar color to Queen Rennala, who is revealed to be her mother and head of Elden Ring's Academy of Raya Lucaria. The hair shown in the concept is wavy and slightly longer than in its original form. According to the post, her sharp and tired-looking eyes were also inspired by her parents, Rennala and Radagon.

The artist also revealed that her eye color mirrors that of her brother Godwyn, signifying that the shade present in her doll's eye is her true color, without the Grace of Gold blessing. The post acquired over 9k upvotes on Elden Ring's main subreddit, with many fans praising how gravitydusty managed to create a unique character with details inspired by her family members.

Elden Ring: How Did Ranni Die and How to Find Her?

Even though the Two Fingers chose Ranni as the successor to Queen Marika, she defied her Empyrean destiny as she did not want to be controlled by the Greater Will. She took a piece of the Rune of Death to fake her death and gave another piece to Rykard. She used a fragment of the rune to help the Numen assassins kill Godwyn at the same time as she died, so she could escape the influence of the Two Fingers.

Her spirit then inhabits a doll, the form in which she appears in the game. To find Ranni the Witch in Elden Ring, players need to complete the Caria Manor dungeon located in Liurnia and defeat Royal Knight Loretta. This will grant the Tarnished access to the Three Sisters area and a tower called Ranni's Rise, where she can be found.
