Elden Ring is certainly a pleasant surprise for veterans of the genre. With its diverse content, Elden Ring successfully treats the Souls fans, where they once again have the opportunity to shape their own story.

Elden Ring map is a vast open land of opportunities, where each decision counts. Each corner may hide a chance to get something new and powerful to aid the Tarnished on their journey. One of these places is the Cliffbottom Catacombs. Where completely scavenging the area, reward the players with not one but two Spirit Ashes.

Cliffbottom Catacombs location in Elden Ring

The Cliffbottom Catacombs are located east of Liurnia in Elden Ring. Players can find the Catacombs by going east until coming upon a cliff. Find the safest jump, then descend ‌that cliff. After jumping down, Tarnished will come across many stones creating a small maze.

There are some tiny enemies that fill the area with smoke to trouble players' vision. Beat them all, then search for the Catacombs' entrance by keeping the mountain on one side, and the entrance will eventually reveal itself.

Taking down the stairs in Elden Ring

The Cliffbottom Catacombs are filled with Imps and Ogres. Once inside the location, players can light a Site of Lost Grace immediately.

From there, move through some Imps, and Tarnished will come across a couple of stairs leading downward. Take the stairs, but don't go into the corridors in front. They lead to a bunch of rooms and many enemies until a dead-end.

Instead, jump down under the stairs. The place is packed with Ogres with only one hallway to take.

Searching for the Lever in Elden Ring

Walk through and avoid the Ogres or fight them until players find a ladder.

Go right to reach the Lever in Elden Ring

Ascend, and there will be an Ogre kneeling in front of a Spirit Page Ashes. Players can take the Spirit Ashes while avoiding the enemy.

Then, move to the right. There's a Lever that opens the door to the Catacombs boss chamber. When the Lever is pulled, players can simply jump down the first stairs, and walk to the Erdtree Burial Watchdog Boss Chamber.

There's a bunch of Erdtree Burial Watchdogs scattered across the Lands Between in Elden Ring. Each has its own twists and move sets, but the Erdtree Burial Watchdog is a fairly easy fight. Defeating the Erdtree Burial Watchdog will reward players with Kaiden Sellsword Ashes and 3200 Runes.

How to get Nox Mirrorhelm in Elden Ring

Inside the Cliffbottom Catacombs, there's a locked chamber that can only be accessed if players use a Stonesword Key. Inside that chamber, Tarnished can loot the Nox Mirrorhelm. Other than that, many chambers lead to many dead-ends, but they are stocked with items and weapons, like:

  • Scythe
  • Warped Axe
  • Four Grave Glovewort (2)
  • Five Grave Glovewort (3)
  • One Rune Arc
  • One Golden Rune (3)
  • Three Old Fangs
  • Prattling Pate "Wonderful"
  • One Hefty Beast Bone
